I wanted to get a tummy-tuck prior to Thanksgiving so I could spend the holiday season recovering. This was my first procedure and there are so many surgeons out there I had no idea who to choose. I interviewed several and was ultimately most comfortable with Dr. Colgrove.
They say hindsight is 20/20 and I couldn't have made a better choice! My results are beyond stunning!
I had no idea choosing which surgeon to use would be so difficult. In the end, Dr. Colgrove struck me as a perfectionist and I think that is why I chose him.
Dr. Colgrove's office is pleasant, not overbooked, and my appointments always started on time. I also found his staff easy to work with and his office offered a variety of payment methods.
Dr. Colgrove's follow-up care has also been great. I'm 5 weeks post-op and I've been back several times so Dr. Colgrove could check on my recovery.
I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Colgrove's work and I plan to use him for my breast augmentation next year.

Feeling much better after one month
MommyNeedsMakeOverJanuary 9, 2014
I wanted to have a tummy tuck because after 3 children no matter how much time I spent at the gym my body was not going to return to the shape it was in. After my surgery I was pretty much out of commission for a week. Anyone considering a tummy tuck should have someone who can care for them 24x7 for the first week after the procedure. My advice to anyone who is having a tummy tuck is to take it slowly at first. Like most women I became frustrated with feeling helpless and tried to do too much too soon. And I regretted it afterward. Anyone who has a tummy tuck needs to plan on taking it VERY easy for at least 1 month after the procedure.
It would be great if you could give us a little more detail about your experience - such as why you had the surgery, tips for getting good results, pros/cons, information on the recovery/pain/downtime and before & after photos.
As the community manager, I'm asked all the time to keep encouraging people to share more details, which is so helpful for others considering these procedures. So please accept this as a well-intentioned request from thousands.
