My motivation was self-improvement. Additionally,...
A pro is that my body looks amazing! After 5 weeks, I tried on some dresses and they look wonderful and the best part is that the swelling hasn’t even gone all the way down yet.
The con is that the pain is bad, but only if you miss a pain pill. Personally, I needed to have someone to care for me and administer my medicine for at least the first two weeks because the beginning steps of the healing process can be physically challenging.
I recommend that you get up and walk every couple of hours to keep your blood circulating as well as do deep breathing exercises to bring your lungs back up to capacity. Also, make sure you wear the garments as they are not only comfortable but necessary to aid your recovery process.
The outcome is that I look on the outside how I’ve always felt on the inside.

They are definitely a team. Like a marching band, they are dedicated to the motto: one band, one sound. That’s their secret to customer excellence. One of the things that I can really appreciate about Dr. Okoro is that he is really hands-on with his patients. I sense that he looks at every detail and that he knows what’s going on with each patient at all times. Even though he has the trust to completely turn it over to other staff members, he chooses not to. When you visit Georgia Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, that truly is him. From the décor to the name of the spa, it all represents something personal to him. He touches every area of his practice. The team of people that he has genuinely like each other and enjoy working there. Being a coach and trainer myself, I know he has to instill and require a certain level of excellence into his employees. Along with that excellence must come a competent skill set. Jenny earns her spot as his assistant standing in when he’s not there. When he’s not there, you’d better believe that she does her job to the “T” in such a way that makes you think Dr. Okoro really was there. Not just anyone can work there. The staff and team members must be thoroughly vetted by him. As I stated before, he is very hands-on and I believe that it is not in him to just pass anything off to someone else. So, for him to trust Jenny with his patients (which would now be her patients) she definitely has earned that position. Jenny is book smart, people friendly and she displays the confidence of a true champion. She wins you over with her awesome sense of humor and wit and she certainly knows her stuff! I don’t just automatically feel comfortable with people just because of the position they hold. I have to know for myself that the person is competent. I don’t take anyone’s word for it. Well, Jenny didn’t tell me, she SHOWED me. She goes beyond what is expected of her. All of the staff does this and there is certainly no mediocrity among any of the team members. They all go above and beyond and none of them are simply average. Each smile and polite gesture from “Would you like a water?” or “How can I serve you?” to carrying your clothes in those cute little baskets they provide for you, even the way they genuinely want to answer your questions exudes excellence. It’s all of the little things that I’ve noticed that makes Georgia Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery a very special practice. Dr. Okoro is a lover of education. I followed his work and career for over two years before I placed my life in his hands. He wants you to understand and be clear about any procedure that you get. More importantly, this is REAL SURGERY and you must have realistic expectations. He works very hard at making sure each patient has a clear understanding of what his/her surgery entails. He is not money-driven. He really wants to make sure you are making the best decision for yourself and that’s what I like about him. Every time I saw him in an interview, he was always in a mode of teaching as he is a teacher at heart. Since I go back and forth between their spa and medical center, I am often greeted and taken care of by Cameo. Her energy and customer service is impeccable. This team member had me on my first tour! The way she showed me around had me thinking “Am I in the doctor’s office or in her home?” She took such pride in giving me a tour and showing me all that they had to offer and it was so sincere. She is trained in many areas and a highly-skilled young lady. I have experienced her on the medical side as well as the spa. She is well-versed in her craft. Cameo is very attentive and doesn’t miss a beat. She has a sweet way of making you feel very warm and comfortable. She is very sincere and does her job from her heart. ALL of the staff is wonderful and I don’t want to leave anyone out because I have been treated well by EVERYONE that I came in contact with! There’s Olivia who will greet you in a gentle manner when you enter and Erica who gets the fun job of collecting payments. She does this very well I might add. There aren’t too many times I can say that I enjoy giving that much money at one time LOL! They are just a sweet staff all the way around! Dr. Okoro expects the best, so he gives the best and it is because of this that I believe he IS the best!
