Here are my 3 weeks post pics. I am still pretty swollen on both sides and below belly button.

No more pain or meds. What I feel at this point is like I've done sit-ups. My incision has closed and stitches from belly button and tuck incision have dissolved...thank God I can comfortably shower!

You did quite well, especially not to have felt to much pain. You must be one tough cookie... I wish mine had only felt like a sore tummy from sit ups.. congrats, you seemed to have a easy recovery.

Oh I politely sent Vicki an email stating how uncomfy I was with him cutting. I want to get more lipo because Im not satisfied with my back. Keep you updated with the response. I had to be a lil nast nice & adamant about what I wanted. Of course i dont want to [RS bleep] my surgeon off! Since I paid already fix what needs to be fixed. Im still going to a more aggressive Dr. Keep you posted bri

Everything this far has been great. The MAIN thing...

Everything this far has been great. The MAIN thing I liked which made me choose Dr. McKnight-Baron was HER including a overnight hospital stay at Kennestone. This REALLY put me at ease because I was TERRIFIED!
I did get 2 other consults before choosing her and they both were going to send me home right after the procedure. ???? One of the doctors had a astronomical price including unnecessary stuff and his staff was UGH!! The other DIDNT include enough overall. Everyone at the hospital was great. Dr. McKnight and HER staff have all been wonderfully perfect....friendly and professional and the office has always been pristine clean.
No issues with the procedure at all. Pain MEDS brought on insomnia, back aches from laying most of the time but nothing a warm heating pad didn't fix. I stopped the Hydrocodone after the first full week and switched to Tylenol but only as needed vs regularly. There really is no pain, it's just achiness like you've done a ton of sit-ups and then just being numb and stiff.
It's been 2 weeks as of today and I am still numb and swollen. Very little bruising that has just started and I assume that's due to the numbness wearing off, IDK-not major. Incision itself has yet to bring and discomfort what so ever. Again and overall at this time I am VERY pleased with Dr. McKnight-Baron. ????????????????????????????????

I'm so glad that you love your plastic surgeon. That is so important. You are looking really good. Did you get muscle repair with your tummy tuck also? Just wondering as that is what I am getting done and wondering how painful that adds to the tummy tuck. Do you still have the drains in? How much longer will you keep them. Thanks for posting and I look forward to your updates! Happy Healing!

Yes I did need and get muscle repair all the way down. My 2 drains were holes below the tuck incision and were removed at my 1 week post op appt. So far the discomfort comes from the ab muscle but it's like I did a lot of sit ups not excruciating pain. The tuck incision has yet to cause pain but I am still numb so once the numbness wears off idk.

Congratulations on you new lease on life. I am thinking about having a tummy tuck/Lipo of the thighs. What should I know about the doctor to help with my decision on choosing het?
