A little update!

I know realself really helped guide me through my surgery anxiety and curiosity so I thought I would add some more information on here!

First- an update from my initial post-- I looked at the warranty card for my implants and the ones Dr. Hanna used were round, not tear drop! Sorry for the confusion.

My Inscisions are in the fold of my breast. Sorry, I don't know the medical term! I can add pictures! I was told that I have internal stitches that will dissolve, and the skin on top of my ditches was closed with surgical glue. I had a light brown tape over my incisions until my 1 week post appointment. At this appointment a nurse took the tape off and cut stitches poking through the skin. I now change the tape myself every few days, but leave the tape on constantly besides changing it.

I must add that I had full range of motion with my arms just an hour after surgery. I definitely felt like I needed to support my chest when standing and walking, and I definitely got tired easily. I stopped taking pain pills after 48 hrs, and just used tylenol occasionally.

I feel like my nerve blockers wore off around 2 weeks post op. TMI but my nipples have been really tender since then (getting much better). Also I was more sore in general. However I flew from Atlanta to Denver 11 days post op so it may have just been the altitude or other factors.

I haven't started working out again but my metabolism is so high post surgery that I haven't experienced any weight gain.

My only complaint is that I am having so much trouble finding bras that are tight around the band and can still cover my breasts. XS is too small in the cup, but S is too big in the band and straps. I have one 32c sports bra from VS that fits well, but nothing that I can wear to show my new additions! I can't wear underwire for 2 more months. This problem could also be because my breasts are still sitting high. I'm just ready for my nipples to stay covered!

Thank you for reading, let me know if you have questions! I'm happy to help.

I had my surgery at Marietta Plastic Surgery. My entire experience from my consultation all the way to today, 1 month post op, has been everything I could have possibly hoped for! I've never felt moved to go out of my way to write a review before, but this experience has merited 5 stars.
I live in Denver, but decided to have my surgery in Marietta, GA. Luckily, I have family in the area. Dr. Hanna and my outstanding patient coordinator, Kelsey, happily worked with me over the phone for my consultation and booking surgery. I flew to Atlanta for my pre-op, where I met Dr.Hanna and was able to use the Vectra 3D machine. This machine took a 180 degree photo of my upper body. The nurse (also fantastic) was able to print out before and "after" photos with this Vectra technology. I will attach those photos! Previous consultations that I went to in Denver did not have this technology and provided me with a tank top and rice bags... not the same affect. I was also able to try on actual implants at MPS identical to the ones I have now! In addition, my surgery was more than $3000 cheaper at MPS than previous consultations in Denver.
Dr. Hanna used 300cc high profile silicone gel Mentor implants. They are teardrop shaped, and under the muscle. I am 5'2 and weigh 102-108. As you can see from my before picture, I had very little breast tissue. I am 28 inches around in the way that Victoria's Secret measures, so it's always been hard for
me to find bras! I've never truly filled out the cup of a bra, there was always a gap between my skin and the cup. I feel like an entirely new person!

Very kind and caring. I felt comfortable with having him as my surgeon from just having a phone consultation. His nurse was also amazing, and I really loved that she was my nurse for surgery and my pre-op! I couldn't be happier with my results or with my experience.
