Approaching 60 - I wanted my taut neck and jawline...
Approaching 60 - I wanted my taut neck and jawline back! As we age our earlobes distend so I also had my earlobes shortened. After much research and consultations I chose "the neck expert" Dr. Rosenberg in New York. His delicate surgery skills were responsible for the easy recovery - notice no drains, almost bruise free - I flew home 10 days post op with no one the wiser at the airport. I am one of those who is happy to share my experience with friends! Dr. Rosenberg and his staff are top notch - they make the experience almost completely stress free. I had private nurses rotating 24/7 for the first 3 days. Not being home - this is VERY important for an easier recovery. I basically remember very little of those first 48 hours. I left all the care and stress to the nurses and just slept and healed. By day 7 I was out walking and enjoying New York in the frigid winter weather. (The cold felt great on my taut face/neck) I initially had an odd dent I was concerned about and a "joker's mouth about 2 - 4 weeks into recovery. I was very concerned. Dr. Rosenberg looked at my photos - called me at home and assured me all would smooth out. And he was correct! I would do the whole thing again in a heartbeat! Thank you Dr. Rosenberg!

A face lift for 50K> what kind of lift did you have?
Neck lift, ear lobes, lower eyes ... you can tack on an extra $5,000 for private nurse 3 days - $13,000 for hotel - add travel, meals ... closer to $75,000 total. Sorry I underestimated. Does that help?
Really was wondering if you had a deep plane FL or a SMAS?
My surgeon did a complete platysma muscle suspension. (Lower face as I did not need any upper work done as yet - give me a few more years!) This involves a modification of the Deep Plane. Every surgeon chooses the technique based on YOUR individual needs, muscle tone, skin laxity ...fat distribution. Let your chosen surgeon make that critical decision.
Well actually every surgeon does not do that. Nice that yours does.

If I had the money Dr. Rosenberg is the OMLY doctor I would trust. I have done a lot of research on him and he is the best.
