How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

I am 33 years old, 5'4, 130 pounds and in athletic shape. I have to preface this review and say I had breast augmentation in 2008 and I have a high pain threshold. For my BA I only took one painkiller per day for the first 3 days and I only take Tylenol after that.

Coolsculpting was not painful. The procedure itself was a little bit uncomfortable but I am still waiting for the nerve pain that everyone keeps talking about. I went back to my HIIT training in 2 days and stopped wearing a spanx.

I am however VERY swollen. So swollen that numerous people have asked me if I was expecting.

My sister had the procedure done 3 weeks ago and she is starting to see results. I will update this review with photos but I sadly did not take any pre-procedure.

7 days

No nerve pain but the bloating continues....

I have returned to all previous physical activities including gym exercises that require me to be on my stomach.

I feel like my sister had all the nerve pain and stinging sensations and she is 4 weeks and looks great!

2 weeks

I know all the reviews say this but I'm beginning to think this doesn't work.

Sometimes I think the swelling has subsided but then I take a photo and I look exactly the same if not worse.

I'm sorry I don't have much of an update. No nerve pain, which is great! But the numbness is still there. When I touch my lower abdomen it feels like pins and needles, like when your foot falls asleep.

Fountain Med Spa has changed it's name to EGA Med Spa. While my tech, Rose, was very nice she did not explain any aftercare with me. My sister had the procedure with another tech Maribel a month prior so she told me what to do. Since I've had Cool Sculpting on April 25th I have not heard from anyone from the spa to ask me how I was doing etc etc.
