I saw that you posted your question in the Q&A section, which is great. I hope you get some helpful information from the doctors.

The appointment that you have scheduled for Feb. 19th, is that to actually get a chemical peel done that day, or is it for a consultation?

Awe, I totally understand. :( Please don't let a spot on your cheek detract from celebrating your sweet 16. I am certain there are so many wonderful things about you that in comparison make that spot seem like nothing to others. As hard as it is, try to keep your focus on all your wonderful qualities, and that you are almost 16 - yay!!! Exciting!!

Keep us posted on how you are doing and how your sweet 16 goes. :)

Go to a dermatologist. Thats the best thing you can do. You need a prescription strength hydroquinone. At least 4%. A potent aha cleanser and or cream and an SPF 30 with a physical block. Use all diligently. Possibly some light peels depending on how long they've been there and for faster results. The hq is a bleacher. The aha is an exfoliate. The SPF is to prevent anymore. Easy to treat if you use as directed
