I had my breasts revised by Dr. Rapaport and I'm completely unhappy with the results. The breasts are two different sizes and one pocket is way lower than the other. My pectoral muscles on my left side are damaged and I am left in a deep depression since having them done. I do not trust his skills as a surgeon, so going back to have him fix them is not happening. I have to live with hideous mismatched breasts until I save another 11,000. To have his work fixed.

I am so sorry you are not happy. I completely understand. You need to call Dr. Pousti out of San Diego California. It will be worth the trip!!

Hi, I'm sorry this happened. Going through something similar myself. After surgery and handing over so much money it's just devastating, I know. After BA surgery and then back in for a revision, I'm no better off than I was looks wise and $9,500 poorer. Try to stay calm and positive: everything can be fixed if you take your time, do your research and find a top-notch doctor. That's what I intend to do.

Go to Dr. Rick Rosen in Norwalk CT. He fixed my botched boobs and did a wonderful job. He's very close to NYC. His is very honest in his examination and will tell you exactly what can and can't be done. He fixed a botched boob job and tummy tuck for me.

I understand how you feel. I saved money for years to get my breast augmentation and I ended up looking worse than before. I have a double bubble and a terrible scar on my left nipple. I have no idea when I'll have the money to fix them. I'm terrified of dating because I don't want to show anyone my breasts. My scar is unfixable and that haunts me everyday!

Bigger implant in bigger breast!!!
Went to a different surgeon for a revision, because I knew my breasts weren't THAT asymmetrical! But Dr Rapaport insisted there was on;t a 5cc difference in implant sizes... The next surgeon checked TWICE, and it turned out that Dr. Rapaport filled the bigger breast with 25cc's more than in the smaller breast. I only wish he was honest with me.
But things got worse with my revision of his revision... I am now left with one breast lower and "window shading" as well as an incision that is below my bra. I'm really questioning the ability of plastic surgeons. Where are they hiding the competent ones?
At this point, after the second revision at a cost of 14k I am literally ruined. NYC is loaded with bs plastic surgeons, and I am once again unhappy with my results. Perhaps now more than ever. Thanks!

I see you live in NY! I live in PA and I went to Baltimore Maryland to have my breast fixed; I found a PS on here; his name is Dr. Schreider; he did my revision surgery; I have beautiful results! Look him up!

Thank you. I will check him out. I'm very wary. I feel like I have chosen great surgeons that have clearly sucked on my surgery day.
I think that I've had bad luck and that I'm never going to have decent breasts. It's over for me.

Its not over.... there are plenty of talented surgeons out there. Just keep looking and asking. My surgeon provided his resume with his patient packet. Now that is impressive

You did not mention if you've had any second and third opinions. Most surgeons do not charge for consults so start calling.

What is window shading of pec muscle ? Never heard of it ! Your PS should pay for the revision, usually patient only pays anesthesia cost for a revision shortly after initial BA . Sorry XO XO

It's when the muscle is cut and heals to the capsule. When you flex your muscle an ugly line and double bubble appear. It hurts and it can't really ever be fixed. I have lost all confidence in plastic surgeons. If two top notch doctors lie and mess up and deflect responsibility- then who can I trust. Window shading is far worse than just bottling out. I'm heartbroken. I should change my name to "even uglier boobs"

Okay her name is " Dr. Lisa Casileth of Beverly Hills ." She's on this sight and has a video that talks about the pec disorder and how to fix it, it can be fixed, Read her original web sight , scroll around on it and you'll see all the breast problems people have and she explains why it happens and how to fix it, look for "Muscle deformity" She repairs it" What she says makes good sense ! She specializes in repairs and in reconstruction !! Don't loose hope ! You just need someone who knows about your specific problem and is experienced in frequently repairing this type of problem :)

I read your story, you didn't have any complications. I have bottoming out and window shading on one breast. Also both scars are too low, so they show in swimsuit tops. One is an inch below my bra. Like I said- It's over for me. I've been hacked by a lady surgeon.

It is incidents like this that we need cost protections from. True this is elective surgery but without consumer protection we are at risk

Your so right and couldn't have said it better! I too am disgusted at how there isn't any protection for us at all. If only I knew back then what I knew now. I think most of us go into this not realizing that a u.s board certified plastic surgeon who has many years experience is capable of actually botching a patient. We often hear horror stories of people who get work done out of the county and end up botched but wow I never realized that there are a good amount of horror stories here as well!
I am so sorry to hear about your recent disappointing surgery. This must be extremely frustrating for you. How long ago was your first BA and what was wrong with your breasts then? Did you change implant sizes this time? I wouldn't feel comfortable going back to the same PS either. Is there any possible chance your breasts are still healing from your revision? Take care!
