I would not of had the courage to book this...
WORTH IT$3,500
I would not of had the courage to book this procedure without all of you sharing your stories so I figured I should share mine as well. I have always hated my profile. I have no jaw line my face and neck are sort of one in the same. (I hate my nose too but will save those details for when I book that) I am petite weighing in at only 115 pounds and 5'3 but have always had this extra bulge of fat under my chin. I would love to have a nice defined jaw line. Any sort of improvement would be worth it for me. I went on three consultations and researched the procedure In great detail. I felt very comfortable and at ease with Dr Breitbart. I booked the procedure with him for this Wednesday May 24th. I picked up my meds yesterday ( antibiotics, valium and vicodin) and some arnica to help with bruising & healing. I am very excited and hoping for good results...will update again after!

Done
Just got home from dr breitbarts office. My surgery was at 8am. All went well, it's 10am and I'm home laying in bed watching tv. It was a quick procedure. I took a valium 45 mins before I arrived. The worst part was definitely the beginning. The injections to numb your neck suckkkkk and then the fluid they pump in was uncomfortable as well but once you get through that you don't feel anything. Next he did the laser portion and then suctioned it all out and wrapped me up in a compression garment. It's a little hard to talk right now because I'm a little numb still from the injections. Im starting to feel some pain in my neck going to try to take a nap and see if I need to take the pain meds when I wake up .

In the picture where you show there are lumps under your chin after surgery did that go away?

Did you use twilight anesthesia? Or anything other than the valium? I am thinking about getting this procedure done but the Dr. recommended twilight anesthesia. I am worried about side effects such as nausea or dizziness. Thank you for sharing!

I believe that the primary medication used was Demerol..... I'm not 100% sure. I had no nausea or dizziness at all. My memory's a little fuzzy now, but I feel like they may have given me an anti-nausea when they gave me the anti-anxiety meds before the procedures began. I wouldn't be too worried about those things, because if they do happen, they'll be gone before you know it. Good luck!

Hi literally just got back from having this done. Feeling great but worried for the pain later if that's what happened to you. How are you now?

Hello, when I left the doctors office I was feeling great too. Not to scare you but later that evening it hurt really bad. I noticed if I loosened the compression garment it helped a bit. Day two was alot better and now at day three it's even less pain so I think you just have to get through the first night. Good luck I'm sure you'll be just fine !
