After having my first child, my breast changed significantly. They went from a 34A to a 34E. I nursed my 1st child, but primarily pumped because he had a hard time latching on. I basically pumped for 5 months straight. I got pregnant with my second child 4 months after my first was born and stopped pumping as soon as we found out we were pregnant. As a result of both pregnancies I developed diastasis recti. I had repaired about 3 months after my 2nd child was born due to severe back pain, bulging intestines through my abdominal wall, umbilical hernia and an internal hernia. My abdominal wall was basically non existent. The fascia was so thin from all of the stretching. My surgeon (back in Texas) repaired the muscles in a corset manner and reinforced them with mesh. I've been ok ever since. The scaring isn't visually appealing but the problem was fixed and I can move around and exercise normally. I am very active, as I enjoy running and crossfit on a daily basis. I am 5'1 and weigh 138lbs. I have been wanting a breast lift for about 6 years now. Bra shopping, swimsuit shopping, dress shopping, sports bra and athletic wear shopping has never fun. My boobs were so saggy up top that it was difficult to find a good fitting bra. I preferred full coverage bras, but i didn't have enough tissue to fill the cup up so I would buy demi bras, but still had a hard time filling those in. Anyhow, after 6 years of thinking about getting a lift I finally scheduled some consults early this year (Jan 2015). One doc recommended a lift and then a second procedure to place the implant. The 2nd doc recommended fat grafting which I was interested in. About 6.5 months later I made a third consult with Dr. Boudreaux and fell in love! I told him that I wanted to stay the same size 34C, but full because I didn't want them to get in the way of my interests (running & crossfit). I didn't want anything bigger that would make my body look disproportionate. I showed him several wish boob pics and he recommended 325cc (for both breasts) in order to accomplish my ideal look. I totally trusted his expertise and agreed! I made my decision to undergo the procedure with Dr. Boudreaux over the course of 1 week. Dr. Boudreaux and his entire staff were so kind and welcoming, answered all my questions (silly and legit). I can't imagine having tried done this with a different doctor. I am attaching some before pics and some post op pics. My husband has been incredibly helpful during this recovery period and supportive of my decisions as well.

Pictures- Before surgery to Day 5!
abc2017August 2, 2015
Here are some pics of the day before surgery and recovery progression. Today (Day 5) is my first day without pain meds and I'm doing ok. I got a little nauseous this morning so I took a zofran. I took tylenol early this morning and ibuprofen this afternoon. Feeling a tight and sore but doing ok!

How funny! I been looking for someone with my exact height and weight to compare and I found you! Mine is coming up and I can't wait!!! You look amazing and I hope mine come out the same. I'll talk to my dr at my pre op about getting your same ccs. Are yours silicon or saline? And what profile?

I'm so glad my post has been helpful. I got sientra silicone 325cc moderate plus in both sides. I am very happy with the results so far!

How long did your tightness feeling go away? I am 3 days post op and the tightness is terrible! It's starting to ease up but I just want to feel normal again! I go back to work on Monday so I'm glad I found someone who went back to work too!

The tightness lasted about a week, but I was so busy at work I almost didn't even realize it. I took ice packs with me and iced when i started feeling tight. I work at a school (social worker) so most of my work was at the computer, folding some school clothes, hugs and opening and closing my filing cabinet. More than anything my body was exhausted by the end of the day.

Day 5, Day 6 & 1 week post op!
abc2017August 6, 2015
So far so good. I went back to work on Monday (Day 5) and it was exhausting. I was prepping my office for the start of a new school year and moved my arms to much. Day 6 at work wasn't too bad. I took Ibuprofen twice yesterday and it seemed to do the job. Today, 1 week post op and my most hectic day at work actually went well. Took ibuprofen once and made it through the rest of the day ok. Feeling better every day! I actually feel so well that I forget about them until I sit down and rest for a minute and my chest muscles feel tight!
My post op on Day 6 went well. They nurse clipped my stitches and the others should dissolve over time. My sutures are beginning to fall off and my PS told me to remove them by Saturday if they haven't fallen off on their own. I developed a blister from one of the steri strips that was pretty painful. My PS said its not uncommon and to apply neosporin on it. I'm still wearing gauze to protect my steri strips. As of today its drying up and feeling better. It seems like my boobs fluctuate from day today- one day my right looks bigger, the next my left looks bigger and so on. However, I do feel like my right breast has dropped much sooner than my left. I also began my massages yesterday and sometimes it feels good to move them around and others its actually a little uncomfortable but I'm trying to do them.
I went regular bra shopping yesterday and tried on a couple. I purchased the wireless body by Victoria and was really comfy in it aside from the itchy steri strips. I'll probably by the Soma Vanishing Back wireless bra this weekend just to alternate between the VS, Soma, Under Amour sports bra and surgical bra.
Every day is getting better! Hoping I'm not doing too much. I often wonder what kind of excessive movement would cause malformations or problems, but at the same time figure being mobile might be helpful to the healing process!

Congtrts on your beautiful new girls. You looks great. It's so wonderful that you can achieve 34 D. I think you've made right sizing of your implants. And thanks for info on the bras. I'm having mine in a month and your review is very helpful and informative. You must be very strong girl, I can't imaging myself going back to work on day 5. Way to go and well done. Thanks for sharing, and Happy healing.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did go back and took it easy. My husband has been super helpful in the healing process so i was able to get home and rest. How many days until yours?

For now I'm scheduled for 9/1 but my Dr. Requires me to get screened mammogram done and I'm waiting for the report. Hopefully everything is ok and keep my date. I'm very anxious now and can't wait to cross the line. ;-)
