hi

Sorry it's been so long, crazy busy. So After a week I went back and had to have another cast on :( I was so upset! This meant I had to go into work with a cast on my nose (slightly embarrassing) then finally a week later it was off!! Hallelujah! I really couldn't get used to my nose at all it looks so strange!! And one of my nostrils was still completely flat from the cast. My parents really couldn't get used to it and I honestly didn't like it. I just looked so different. I felt slightly disappointed as I felt like I should of just left my nose alone. Everyone kept commenting on how perfect it was.

3 months on and I LOVE it! I look so much better, I have so much more confidence!!!

The swelling took a good 8 weeks to go down and my scar is still slightly noticeable (only to me) the end feels slightly hard still but overall it's amazing!!!

The only thing downside to my small nose is now it's really sensitive and any little dust or strong smells make me sniffly & sneeze. It's certainly not something that would stop me from going through with it.

Mr tahery has been amazing throughout the whole thing and I would recommend him totally.

The surgeon seemed to think my nose hadn't fully set into its new position as it was so wonky before he wanted to be certain. Xx

Working hard & saving! In British money it was about £5000 xx

5 days post op

Well 5 days in and I can honestly say hand on heart iv had no ounce of pain nor a headache.
The biggest bug bear has been my blocked nose which up until today has been driving me mad.

Because of my stitches I can't wipe my nose if I get abit of running. It's quite sore where they are so I have to use a Q tip. Iv been using a sea salt spray to remove any crusty bits up my nose and it works. So today I decided to blow my nose a little to remove any bits. Well I think every loose bit of junk & gunk came out, I also think I blew out my disposable packing (naughty and gross I know) however oh my lord was it great! I can breathe!! I can also taste for the first time! Amazing.

I also can't see any bruising apart from the very corners of my eyes. You can still see the anti bac solution on my face underneath the tape keeping my cast in place.

Il be so glad when I can wash my face!!

Ps iv attatched what I blew out my nose so sorry if it makes you feel abit green.

No need to attach that disgusting lump
Its her profile No one else will tell you if something like that happens
I did warn folk. Surely reviews should be warts & all. You didn't have to look at it :)
Its reality of recovery. Lol my kids got a kick out of my boogers. I had one named "the neverending booger" so funny.
Omgoodness that boogey is so gross! I had some long, crazy ones but not like that!! You look really cute with your glasses and cast. Your nose is going to be darling :)
I also had giant boogers that I pulled out with a Qtip. I could breathe sooo much better when I got those suckers out ! Hope you're recovering well :)
Hi. How are you doing. I would love to know how you have got on. Are you going to update soon.xx

Hi

So iv been wanting a nose job since I was a teenager. I'm getting married this year and this has finally given me the push I needed. After several recommendations I went with Transform in Manchester.
When I was in the womb my umbilical cord got wrapped around my neck, to save myself I put my hand underneath and was born with my hand flat to my face (hence the wonky nose) .
Several times iv been asked if it's broken due to it's unevenness. I'm also unable to breathe out of my nose properly.

So on sat 24th I had my operation. Fortunately I wasn't nervous and have a high pain threshold. Woke up sleepy with slight pressure on my nose. This went after I fell asleep. Immediately you can see the difference in shape at the top of my nose from the cast.

Luckily iv not bruised (yet) but I have been taking arnica and applying arnica cream like moisturiser. Il keep you updated but it's so worth it.
