WORTH IT
My first surgery was a great improvement. I had too much excess skin, it required a second surgery. The results are amazing! My surgeon said “now your body matches what you are on the inside”. I agree! It’s been a long journey, from my decision, in-depth research of male tummy tucks, first surgery and second surgery. I’d do it all again.

Second surgery

Exquisite8508
In my first surgery, during my tummy tuck and chest reduction, a lot of skin and what I called free floating pockets of fat were removed. My body was much improved. Dr Rocheford is excellent surgeon. Only so much can be done in one 7 hour surgery.
My second surgery was a 360 body lift. My lift included removing excess skin from my back, flanks, tummy and the sides of my chest. My areoles were reduced in size and one nipple was repositioned. Now my chest, flanks, back and tummy looks great. I feel very good about the way I look! No more hiding behind oversized clothes.. ( I was a size XL , now I’m a medium and wear slim fit clothes.) I have more confident and self worth. Not afraid to stand tall, chest out and head held high.

If I can ask, how are you doing with sensation/numbness? Is it slowly returning after your surgeries?

I still have occasional tingles and numbness on the incision scar. But not a problem

You can always ask me a question Numbness and the sensation of pins and needles is real. It starts to decreasing at two months and by six months the numbness and pins and needles sensation are gone. My second surgery required an incision all the way around my body ( a 360). After five months my back at my waist line incision is still numb. It doesn’t slow me down but I am aware of it. I assume in a few months it too will be gone. All the other numbness is gone. After both surgeries at five months I start back at my exercise routine. With exercising be mindful of your tummy tuck incision as it will pull at the incision. So start slow. Hope this helps you.

Congratulations on a great success.
It is over 8 years since I did the same and rejoice in that decision everyday.
Stay positive in your outlook on life and resist going back to old habits. Well done.

I’m adding my photos to my original post. My before pictures really reveal how far I’ve come. If you are wondering if you should have surgery, consider how good you well look and feel about yourself

I reread my first review. I meant to say a "smaller size". Before surgery I wore a XL regular shirt/tee shirt which had to be very loose fitting. I always hid in the back for a pictures. Now I can wear a large slim fit tee shirt that hugs my body. My GP doctor said it's good you keep yourself trim. No one ever said I was trim before. Sure its probably vanity- I sure it is- but when you know you look good, you feel good about yourself.
If you are thinking about surgery, do your research. The surgery and recovery are not easy, but the results are well worth it.

Congratulations
What was your total cost and how was your recovery like.

I'm strongly considering.

First surgery $14,000 and second surgery $10,500. So $24,500- the price a new small car! Hey I got a new body. The first 18 days are the roughest- pain meds, sleeping in a recliner. For two weeks, I had 2 drains which had to be drained a few times a day. By two months, doing well. Four months reminding myself to stand up straight, as the scar feels tight. By six months, I felt great. It’s no walk in the park, but totally worth it. If you decide to have surgery, do alot of research. I searched the internet and YouTube for male tummy tuck videos. Good luck and if you have surgery let me know
