I'm 50 years old and have recently lost 22 pounds. I do believe half of the weight has come off my breasts. I was wearing a 36 D and now wear a 34 B. My concern was having to get a lift because they seemed so deflated but after meeting with Dr Hamacher, he assured me a lift was not necessary. My surgery date is December 2. I have decided to go with Natrelle saline implants and am going through areola. The surgical coordinator told me that the PS uses very small stitches that I would not see any scars. I have yet to decide on size however I would like them to be round and full with a two finger gap in between. I have total trust in my PS to help me decide. He has been doing BAs for over 40 years. He told me to bring in my "want" pics as well as my "don't want" pics. I am so glad I came across this site. My husband teases me about "boob shopping" as I have been making quite the portfolio. I have had feelings since making my down payment. From anxiety, excitement, nervousness, and anticipation, I'm not quite sure which emotion describes my feelings best. I have just started Christmas shopping as I'm not sure how I'll feel after surgery. 5 weeks will be here before I know it. Here is a couple of pictures of my "want" boobs as well as my sad droopy girls.

I am happy to see you started a review with pictures! Looking at your "wish pix" they do look high profile. You are fortunate enough to have lots of pre existing breast tissue and saline will work wonders for you to give you that upper pole and fullness you need!
I didn't know that MPS did a pre op appointment, I thought it was just the consult and then surgery day, obviously they welcome you in at any time! I think you may be ok with mod plus implants since you have a good amount of breast to start with however I personally like the look of hp more, and since you are like me, and have had children, your breasts have stretched and have more elasticity to them! Dr hamacher uses allergan-natrelle implants.
If you don't mind me asking how did you decide on dr hamacher? I know of a few people who went to dr bernsten (in the same office) but haven't heard any a it dr hamacher. Unfortunately there aren't really any reviews online for either dr, but they both have been doing this for several years! And I haven't heard one bad thing about the clinic or Drs. Just curious that's all, I've always wondered if I should schedule an apt w hamacher but have seen dr bernsten 3 times now and know 3 people who have went to him.
Thanks for sharing! Keep us posted on your progress/journey!

Hi there...I'm excited and nervous. I haven't booked my surgery date yet as I am still deciding on ...over or under, round or anatomic. Over is much less recovery time but I don't want to be disappointed in the future if they start to sag again!!

One week til the new girls arrive

One week from tomorrow and I'm freaking out. My stomach has been in knots for the last two weeks. I have yet to tell my employer that I will be taking medical leave because I'm not quite sure what to tell them. The only one that knows is my husband and he can't wait for the "new girls". Anyone else have anxiety about the waiting game? Also, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I would tell my employer?

What type of work do you do? Are you taking an actual FMLA leave of absence or just taking vacation time off? I took 3 days off vacation time plus the two weekend days and returned to a desk job on day 5 or 6. I honestly wouldn't have had to tell them anything and they never would have known or questioned me. I am not telling them about my revision and have no plans to tell them why I am taking off lol and if they ask... Tell them it was a procedure, no need to know what type of procedure hahaha

Oh and yes I had major anxiety about the procedure! It was my first time going under general anesthesia, your nerves are totally normal!

I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight. Got my bag packed and photos ready for my 8:30 appt. Still can't decide on high or mid profile. I think I've looked at 1000's of photos. Think I'm just gonna leave it up to dr. Tomorrow I'll be posting pics of the new arrivals.

I'm curious to see how the MAC sedation goes! I've never heard of it and I am a worry wart! Please do update with pics and what your experience is with the staff and process and MAC anesthesia

Definitely will do. Will give you all the details. I think we are very much alike in the worry wort part.

Congratulations on your weight loss! I like the idea of "want" and "don't want" pictures so you and your PS are on the same page. Good idea to get your Christmas shopping out of the way now. Keep us posted along the way!
