Hi. The time goes by fast. You still have a lot of healing to do. It takes a long time. Its worth it, though. I hope you are enjoying the process. It can be tedious at times. Thanks for the update, and Happy Healing!!

Looking great! Love the collage. Btw, in case you weren’t aware: if you respond to someone’s comment using the “reply “link directly below their comment they will receive a notification that you responded to their comment. Hope this is helpful. I look forward to following your progress. :-)

Yes it took me a while to figure my way around this place. Lol. One other tip to share: you can edit the title of your review to add additional info (i.e. implant size and other specs such as height/weight ) if you want. Sometimes having additional info in the title can draw more traffic into the review, especially from others looking for the same implant size or that have the same specs. Btw, just curious do you plan on doing any kind of scar therapy?

I was planning on using scar away silicone sheets which i have them, but since i had a spitting suture and my insicion that crosses between my nipple and the cut that goes down the bottom of my breast hasnt healed yet I have been afraid to stick that sheeting on until it fully closes. . buuutt since its been 2 months since my surgery I can hardly even see that insicion line. my surgeon was impressed how well it healed . i am too. its a pain waiting for this last little bit to close up. i have been using coconut oil 2 times a day. is there a scar treatment you could recommend ?

Sounds great. Although the one thing to be aware of is scar healing has a phases of healing. They usually look pretty good for the first two or three months before they enter what is known as the “angry phase” where they may darken or turn red. This doesn’t happen with everyone of course. Much of scar healing is genetic; other factors are the PS’s incision work and the overall wound healing process including the aftercare. Some studies such as Embrace scar therapy studies have shown that the earlier the scar therapy is applied the better the scar turns out in the long run. I agree it’s not a good idea to put scar tape on an open wound. However you can work around it covering the areas that are closed, imo. See what PS has to say about that. I also had a wound in my t-zone. I was instructed by my PS to keep it covered with a light dressing and a non-antiseptic healing ointment (such as Aquaphor). He was okay with me applying scar tape on all the other areas. Btw if you Google the words “wounds covered or uncovered” you’ll see that current wound care advice is to keep your wounds moist (although not wet) and covered for quicker healing and less scarring. This is different from to the old days when they used to believe that open air and oxygen was good for wound healing. Some people believe scar therapy is just simply a continuation of good wound care. As for the type of scar treatment it really depends on the individual and their sensitivities to the different products on the market. My personal preference is “embrace scar therapy”. But I will say it’s not for everyone; some have found it quite irritating. I did initially have sensitivities with Embrace but I have figured out ways to work around it. Feel free to check out my Embrace scar therapy if you’d like. You appreciate some of the other info I posted there even if you decide not to use Embrace. Good luck. :-)

Random question, I’m looking to schedule surgery for 7/24 and I have a trip to Disney World planned for 9/12. I will be 7.5 weeks post op. Based on your recovery, do you think you could handle a trip to Disney 7.5 weeks post op?

June 29, 2018
yes . after a month i would have been up for anything. its mostly the first 2 weeks that are the hardest . You will be feeling and looking great at 7.5 weeks :-) . Good luck on your surgery! hope all goes well. Also have a great time at Disney

They look amazing and this collage is so helpful! I’m almost 2 weeks post op and still bruised and swollen. I’ve been really impatient the last couple of days with my progress and anxious about how they’ll turn out but seeing how well you’ve progressed makes me feel so much better. Thanks for sharing :)
