46 Yr Old with 16 Year Old Implants Needs an Update!
ORIGINAL POST
At 30 years old, I had a breast augmentation...
WORTH IT$8,000
At 30 years old, I had a breast augmentation surgery. After 16 years and 2 children, I was starting to notice changes in my body - saggy breasts and enlarged areola. I struggled with whether or not I should spend the money on a second surgery, but I really wanted to have the saline implants replaced with silicone and maybe even upsize them a bit. I was also not sure if I had the time to take off and was unsure if my recovery would be longer or more difficult at 46 than it had been at 30. I made the decision to pull the trigger and within a week of my consultation, I was in the operating room. I also chose to have a lift and although I had been concerned about scarring and sensitivity, I have to say I am so excited about the results. I am now 4 months out and very happy with my new look. Recovery was easy - about 3 days of discomfort from the incisions, but surgery was Friday and I was back at work Tuesday and was walking for exercise again in less than a week and running/jogging at 2 weeks.

That's great your recovery was so easy! Glad you were able to treat yourself to this upgrade. Do you like the feel of the silicone implants better? Thank you for sharing your story with us and congratulations!
I do like the feel of the silicone better. I think they feel more natural than my saline implants did and I do not notice the rippling at the bottom of them that I did experience with my saline.
I hear this response from many women. Glad you're enjoying them too. Feel free to share any pictures you're comfortable posting!
