At 53 years old, I saw my grandmothers face when I looked in the mirror. Not that she wasn’t beautiful but I was looking so much older than I felt. I booked with Dr Adair Blackledge for a lower facelift and neck lift with him in Sept 2022. I am no stranger to plastic surgery. I’ve had a mommy makeover and previously breast implants so this was not my first rodeo. My face was sagging and looked like it was melting. I hated it. I had a Turkey neck and droopy eyelids. After my lower FL and NL, I went back to Dr Blackledge in Feb 2023 and had upper bleph and partial buccal fat pad removal. I am so thrilled with my results a year later. He is the MOST amazing doctor and human being. His entire staff was amazing. I’ve referred tons of ladies to him. I am now 54 and turning 55 in 3 months. I couldn’t be happier!

Beautiful transformation! When did our swelling improve? FL Recovery is long and the swelling and bruising can take months. When did you start to turn the corner and see your amazing results?

Thank you. It was about 6 months before I felt like the swelling completely went away.

Thank you! Really it took a good solid 5-6 months for my face to finally settle down. Swelling went down considerably after about 2-3 months but after that it would fluctuate. Some days my face looked chubby and swollen. I'm very grateful to finally be on the other side.

Wow! You were pretty before...but I bet how you look and how you feel line up more accurately now. Beautiful! Was it a deep plain face/neck lift you had done or what type lift was it? I'm starting to consider doctors for a face lift. I am 50 and I want to get something done soon before the aging gets bad. I can see my round face starting to change shape.

You look AMAZING! So beautiful. Is that correct that it was only $9k? I'm in California. I just called the office where I got my breast augmentation done and a full facelift is $19k! I think I just need a lower but that'll probably be a lot too.

Thank you so much! Yes, my lower FL and NL was $9K with Dr Blackledge. I went back to him in Feb 2023 and had upper bleph and partial buccal fat removal. That was another $3200. So all together I spent $12,200. I live in Houston and the quotes I got from do a here was in line with what you got in CA. I had a couple of friends that went to Dr B and they all turned out great. It was a no brainer for me to choose him. I’m so thrilled with my results. Zero complaints.
