Lower Facelift Messed Up by a Chiropractor

Had a lower face and neck lift in June 2023 that turned out beautifully and I was very please with. After I had been healing for approximately 6 months I went to a Chiropractor for an unrelated visit, for the Chiropractor to manipulate my cervical spine. This was my first visit to The Chiropractor and unfortunately she did not ask questions on my medical history that would have prompted me to tell The Chiropractor that I had a face/neck lift approximately 6 months prior. The Chiropractor stood behind me where I was sitting and she put one hand on each side of my lower face and forceable jerked my head & neck straight up. When she did this I felt a sever and hot pain go through both sides of my face. We I got in my car I looked in the mirror and there was a concave area under my chin, it looked like the platysma muscle that had previously been stitched together during the neck lift had separated. There was immediate swelling and bruising that had not been there before The Chiropractor "adjusted" me. I am left with significant separation and a concave to the area where the Platysma was flat before this happened. My plastic surgeon thinks it can be fixed by redoing the entire face and neck lift. I am scared of having another facelift, I am afraid it will look worse and will make the scars worse as they are already very hard. I was so happy with the Facelift results and would have recommended it, but with knowing how much pain the surgery caused and the fact that the muscle can be easily torn apart again, I am not sure that I would recommend a lower face and neck lift.
