I now have a scar in the hardest of areas to address

It is a shame! I so adored Dr. Bloom and is staff. However, last year Spring 2022 I had a lower face lift. The head wrap that Dr. Bloom put on after surgery was so tight that it dug into my throat and left a whole. It took forever to close and now I have a permanent scar. I was told from day one by Dr. Bloom that he will do whatever it takes to make it right. We had to wait a year for healing to address it. During that time I had to deal with the scar. My entire routine last summer was changed cause I wasn’t allowed to get it wet - swimming was not allowed; I had to cancel trip with husband cause of the hole. In Jan. 2023 He set a date for surgery to minimize the damage that he caused. Although he was not charging for procedure, I found out through paperwork I would have to pay hospital/dr fees close to $2000.00! I was told by Dr Bloom himself when I questioned charges “why should I have to pay you for surgery” I said because you scarred me. He refused to cover the costs. For a year I was lied to and mislead that he was going to fix his mistake! I now have a scar in the hardest of areas to address. The single star is because his facelift was great but what good does it do when I have to look in the mirror everyday and for the rest of my life with a scar on my throat that Dr. Bloom created! I’m truly scarred for life. There is no way to make it go away. The best thing I can hope for is to minimize its appearance, provided I can find a doctor that will be willing to take on another doctors, Dr Blooms, botched surgery. Beware!
