Only lasted 1.5 years

I read great reviews on Dr. Nijher and decided to finally take the leap on a lower face and neck lift that I have been wanting for years. I have waited almost two years to write this review so I was fair with reviewing the true result. Overall I am still glad I did this, and in pictures I like how I look, but others should be aware of things that can happen and can be visible in-person, closeup.
I have noticeable incision scars in front of my ears plus deep crevice lines from behind the lobe running down my jawline (steroids have not helped settle them) because it was pulled too tight. I have one pixie earlobe. I no longer feel comfortable putting my hair in a pony tale because it is all so noticeable. They also did not take the time to section and tie up my long, thick hair so it was out of the way--chunks were cut out underneath with the surgery and I have little to no regrowth in those areas.
My neck looked AMAZING the first year, but it is already sagging again so it basically only lasted 1.5 years--this is certainly wasn't my expectation. The incision that he did under my chin for the chin/jawline sagging (which really has been the best part about the procedure and has kept up well) is not small and short -- rather it is long and jagged looking. Again another very noticeable thing in-person, but a trade-off I guess.
I say all this to educate and so others are sure to do their homework and understand what the outcome could be. This is my personal experience and outcome, it could be better for others. On the positive side, Dr. Nijher is very nice, spends time answering questions and his staff is very warm and welcoming.
