6 week scar update
I am pleased with the scars. There is still some puckering from the internal sutures that were put in to hold the incision together. Those are dissolvable and everything will flatten out. My scar starts 1in below my public hire line, and end just under my butt checks.
3 week post op
The swelling has gone down a lot this week. Especially in my hips. The hard feeling on my inner thighs and hips has mostly subsided. It is still uncomfortable to sit strait up, so I try to sit in a reclined position. I find it more comfortable to wear my husbands underwear, since they don’t rub on the incisions. Wearing the compression garments is a must, I start swelling when I don’t wear it.
14 Days Post Op
I had a small setback where my incision opened on my left leg. I’m keeping it clean and dry, as well as using polystyrene. It’s healing well and my incisions are starting to flatten out. I’m still swollen but it gets better every day
