Love my new figure after Mommy Makeover!
WORTH IT$13,257
I am one week post-op from my Mommy Makeover with Dr. John Mancoll in Virginia Beach which included breast augmentation with Natrelle silicone, full profile, cohesive 345cc implants on both sides (SCF-345) with inframammary incision, mastopexy with periareolar incision on my left breast, and a full abdominoplasty. My stats: 39 years old, 5’4”, 115 lbs consistent weight (when not pregnant), small frame, married, 3 kids ages 7-12. I spent 9 years either pregnant, breastfeeding, or both, which left me unhappy with saggy deflated breasts, loose abdominal muscles and excess skin.
Already familiar with Dr. Mancoll’s office from doing various skin treatments, I scheduled a consultation for breast augmentation at their November open house. Dr. Mancoll said I would likely need a lift in conjunction with the implants for the look I wanted due to ptosis from pregnancy/breastfeeding, particularly on my left breast. A few weeks later during an appointment with Andrea the RN master injector, I asked her whether something could be done about all of the loose skin on my abdomen. She took some photos and checked with Dr. Mancoll. By chance he had an unexpected few minutes of free time that day and came in to examine me, showing me the options of adding to my scheduled surgery either J-plasma to tighten the skin, or a full abdominoplasty to correct my diastasis recti, remove the excess skin, and shape my waist. Dr. Mancoll never once tried to “upsell” any procedures, he just showed me the available options to address my concerns and discussed the pros and cons of each. He thought I would have a great result from the full tummy tuck since I was already at my ideal weight, but advised that the recovery period would be harder and longer. After days of reading about my options, I decided to do the whole Mommy Makeover including breast augmentation with mastopexy and a full abdominoplasty.
One week out from the surgery and I am so happy I trusted Dr. Mancoll’s judgment and chose to do the lift and tummy tuck along with the augmentation to get optimal results. He only needed to do a lift on my left breast (the slightly larger and saggier one) to achieve my desired look but I can tell it made a huge difference the symmetry of the final result. The swelling from the abdominoplasty is painful and annoying but I am so amazed by how much more defined my waist is. It really complements the results of the breast augmentation for a more feminine figure. I can’t wait to wear a bikini this summer, something I have not done in 14 years! Dr. Mancoll is not only an experienced board certified plastic surgeon, he is truly an artist with a natural eye to get the best aesthetic results for his patients.
