Hi internet! So now that my surgery countdown app...
WORTH IT$8,001
Hi internet!
So now that my surgery countdown app is under the 10 day mark, I have decided to create this review to update you guys and myself on this rhinoplasty that I’m having done.
I’m doing this because I think far down the road I will enjoy coming back to read- and also because when first deciding to do this surgery I was searching all over for other people’s stories just like this.
As the days windle down, I’m getting more anxious and nervous. But oh so excited as well. I will update with pre op and post op as well as my recovery process. Enjoy the road ahead!

Wow you guys, this is sneaking up so quickly. I figure I’ll attach the digital images that I received at my consultation to show the potential “after” images. Keep in mind, these are NOT real after images!!
Side note: It is very rare for me to pose for pictures that show the side of my face. I have never been one to do that because of my nose. I always take pictures from my “sweet spot” angle. One of my main wishes after this surgery is to never have to think about looking at a camera a certain way, or avoiding it because it might catch a side view. Enjoy pics.

Questions/Advice
Hey there,
I’m starting to think about what recovery is going to look like and after reading (what seems like) millions of your reviews, I have realized that there are certain things I may want/need for recovering. If you have any favorite things that helped you, please drop them below!
It seems as if right now I’m the only one reading these... but who knows, someone might stumble upon this. I feel like I’m talking to myself in a diary for now.
Also, I was wondering if any of you had an experience where a parent or someone close to you wasn’t supportive of your decision to get surgery. For me, it is my mom. My dad is the most helpful human in this situation, and she is the opposite. Ugh, does not make things easy. I’ll be glad to accept tips on that, too.
Well, my finals for school are almost over and then nothing stands in the way of me and this surgery. I specifically scheduled this right after finals so that I could have all of Christmas break to recover and go back to school in mid January. I have the most supportive friends - they’re all wanting to come and be there for me. Will update again before surgery!!

Yes i am currently in the consultation stage where i am meeting with doctors and although my dad is helpful. My mom is anxious and doesnt really agree but is slowly learning to accept that i really want this. I know i am probably late with this comment.

Hello! That is great to hear, I hope that your mom gets fully on board!! I love to hear comments no matter when! :) good luck with the consultations. Really make sure you’re telling each one what you want... my doctor was clear in saying that he doesn’t do “miss piggy” transformations, he takes your nose and makes it look better for you. Very natural look!
