Words cannot express how happy I am with Dr. Calobrace. He is so detail oriented and works with you to get things just right, and I trust his judgement so much.
Almost a year ago, Dr. Martin from Cincinatti did a fat transfer from my right love handle to my cheek to correct fat atrophy that had occurred after I pressed too hard on a spot under my eye trying to pop a pimple. I stupidly asked him to also correct my very slightly uneven smile while he was at it. Well, he was unable to fix the dent, and ended up just making the right side of my cheek look enormous compared with the left. Though I told him I'd rather him do less and have to have a follow up than do too much and make my face deformed, he injected a huge amount of fat into my smile lines an an attempt to take them away completely, not even attempting to make the minor additions which could have improved their symmetry. To make things worse, one of the injections went onto my upper lip instead of my smile line, while the other went where he wanted it to. Even if they'd both gone where he wanted them to it wouldn't have looked right. A 24 year does not need their smile lines/ nasolabial folds taken away. He also only took fat out of one side of my body, despite drawing on both sides, and now my love handles, lower back, and even lower stomach look uneven.
I think the reason Dr. Martin was so careless during my procedure was because I made him feel ingorant and angry during the procedure when he told me he didn't believe in global warming, and I brought out the arsonol of facts I had about the topic having just graduated with majors in environmental science and sustainability. That is not a debate that should have occurred during such an important procedure (or a debate really at all). My life hasn't been at all the same since that day.
Anyway, Dr. Calobrace has been great to work with in trying to fix it all- right now we're using fillers to try to even both sides of my cheek out and smile lines, with the eventual goal of using fat as a more permanent solution, at which point hopefully we can make my lower tummy/ back/ love handles look even again.
I would HIGHLY recommend seeing Dr. Calobrace.
