I have tried many different approaches to get rid of some acne scaring on the cheeks. I had quite a few mirconeedling sessions. I did not see any results. I finally decided to go for it and have the pro fractional laser done along with resurfacing. I had the procedure done 5 days ago. I can already see improvement in the scars. Some are nearly gone. The procedure did not cause any pain. I took 10 mg of Valium beforehand. I also had local numbing injections along with tumescent. It felt a little hot in some areas but no pain. The healing process has been a breeze. No pain or problems what so ever. After I am healed I will do a few treatments of vivace. Which is mirconeedling with radio frequency ( heat ). I am so thrilled with my results so far. I know I will continue so see more and more results as time goes by.

Did you pay $2400 for fractional co2 laser on your cheek area only? That is over priced - thats more than what the whole face typically costs. You should be able to get a small area like that dose by a highly reputable doctor for less than $1000. Looks like they did a good job, but if you need additional treatments I would definitely check the pricing.

I actually got 3 estimates in my area and all were in this price range. The Doctor basically went as deep as he could so I did have to get extra pain injections. Which did add to the overall cost. A long with the tumescent which is not cheap. This is a big deal letting someone to do this your face. I trusted Dr. Salzman 100% and felt comfortable with him. Even IF I was maybe paying a little more! My results continue to get better and better and his office is still continuing to help me along the way.

I agree most important thing is to only have this done with a first rate doctor who you completely trust. I can see the from the depth and feathering at the edges that he does good work. Aftercare is also important as you say. Its reasonable that his pricing is a little bit higher than average.
I'm just suggesting that if you need additional treatments you might ask him for better pricing. Not about the lowest pricing just not double.

Maybe in your area the pricing is higher. In Beverly Hills with a board certified plastic surgeon the same procedure is between $1800-$3000 for the entire face. Maybe it's because there are so many practitioners here.

Could be! I am having Vivace micro needling done currently and I am getting great pricing on that from the same facility. I have seen some great results from it also... Only 2 more to go: )
