Revision of Earlier Review
The first few times I saw Dr. Little I was drawn to his confidence and personable manner. Perhaps I placed to much faith in him now 1 year after the tissue expand placement I am beyond disappointed. I had not 1 but 2 tissue expanders leak. The studies on this happening are non existant. Each time I was nearly brought to tears at yet another problem. After the initial placement of the expander 1 drain stayed bloody and never did clear. I had to have 1 expander replaced after having to have an area at the suture line repaired. It completely opened up & you could see the expander. After having 1 expander exposed and having infection cleaned out of my chest, and two replaced because of leaks I was FINALLY able to get implants placed. Now mind you at multiple fills I had lymp fliud draining from where the needle went in. On a 45 minute drive home my shirt was totally where lymp fluid that had been pushed out. Then we went to where Dr.little would drain out excess lymp fluid. I am not sure what has happened but after my implants were placed I was discharged from the u of l hospital after being in horrible pain with no pain control. I paged and texted Dr.little and his staff for 3 days where no one answered my calls for help. So now I'm left with a scar line that is raised 1/2 inch with puckered up skin and horrible results. I am 5 weeks from implant placement and 1breast is really oddly shaped and the other has a nice shape but really bad raised scar. I have had 6 surgeries now. I felt really good about doctor little until he left me in agony for 5 days and now its almost as bad after I complained to u of Louisville hospital about the lack of care. Dr.little said now I need yet another surgery to address scar tissue on the smashed breast
