Had my 1st follow up appointment today. Very uneventful. They replaced my dressings and added antibiotic cream. the Dra says I'm healing great and incisions look really good. I'm super swollen, bigger than before surgery but I expected that. I've been drinking lots of fluids and walking around as often as possible. No pain at all from day 1.
I would suggest to find a good RH because you need someone there to make sure you eat on time and take medications. My boyfriend came with me and has been a life saver. He cooks and cleans up after me. I only used my nurse the first night, but everyone's experience will be different. Do what you feel is best for you.
I will post pictures when I go see the Dra again on Thursday. I didn't take any today because I left my cell phone in my purse.

I'm from Louisiana and have chosen Dr Almonte as my surgeon. You look great already; very happy for you. If u have any advice, please feel free to inform me. I'm a nervous wreck. God bless and I pray u have a speedy recovery !!

I would say don't buy too many supplies. I havent really used anything I purchased yet. Dra Almonte is a sweet doctor, she will do what's best. I didn't get the full lipo that I wanted due to my hemo, but it turns out I didn't need it! She was able to get the love handles and the sides. Keep your CG on 24 hours while you're here. I've only washed my faja once, I never removed the gauze wrapped around or looked at my incisions until today at my appt. You will be fine,

On the flat side!!
I arrived around 130pm on Thursday and my driver Nepar was waiting for me. We went straight to Dra Almonte's office and I met Lesley. She was as nice in person as she was while I've been corresponding with her. They have started to remodel the office and it's beautiful. Went and had all my tests done and ended up having to wait for the cardiologist which was almost 2 hours!! My honey and I came back to the apt that I rented and went to have a nice meal before surgery. The next morning we arrived around 6am and the waiting area for surgery slowly started to fill up. I was Almonte's second surgery of the day. When they called me in, everything happened so quickly. I took the blue pill, Dra Almonte came and marked me up and I was being wheeled into surgery. I remember getting an IV and the nurse saying sleep now. Next thing I knew I was waking up in recovery and I was very cold, shivering.

Hi, I wanted to see if I could pick yo brain about the apt and hiring a nurse. If it would be cheaper then the 750 extra for the RH
