Back of the crown still empty. Scar has stretched versus his claims of it being invisible. Packed the front and left the crown somewhat empty to set up a follow up procedure. Novice nurse worked the back portion of the head during the procedure. Charges are extremely high for the amount of consideration given to patients. Fooled by his YouTube videos which only show the select individuals with above par results and notice how none of the videos Ever reveal the final results of the mid to crown regions. Videos elude those areas and they are really smart not to reveal results in those areas even for patients considering mega sessions of 5,000 grafts plus which are manipulated into thinking they will have a full head of hair after one session. Promises that more hair will not fall out when indeed they will because we are all dealing with male pattern baldness. Just wants your money honestly and moves to the nest patient who has money to throw away. He is good don't get me wrong he is good at creating a nice hairline etc but leaves a sour taste after doing business with them. If you have tons of money to throw away go ahead but for a second procedure or if you want to save on your hard earned money then I would consider doing some research on the doctors in Turkey for sure. Will update photos of crown etc later.

Two more pictures....
Also just wanted to say I had swelling for only two days on my forehead and it wasn't too bad then one eye lid went kinda blue on me but just for one day I have heard worse stories....so far everything has been cool as with everyone who goes through this we just want hair all over the place right away hahah but I guess from what I'm learning now is that it is the "ugly duckling" phase....to be honest it doesn't look too bad like this minus the scar....

I am two months out with the same procedure with same doctor but I had fewer grafts. My scar looks much worse and I lost hair around the scar. I'm glad yours looks better. The person who cuts my hair is concerned about how mine looks. I sent pictures to the office and they told me to follow up in a year. My scar is much bigger and I have done everything they told me to do.

Sorry to hear that. I guess that's always a risk with a scar, although it probably doesn't look as bad as you think. I'm always paranoid about the barber seeing mine, but they rarely seem to unless I tell them about it. Did you discuss the possibility of visible scarring with the doctor before you embarked on the surgery?
I also had an FUT procedure and my scar is really minimal (lucky me)... but my surgeon said that if I wasn't happy with it, he could do three things in order of severity. 1) Micro pigmentation on the scar, so that it blends in much better. (2) FUE on the scar, and (3) Revision surgery. If you're really not happy with it after a year, maybe you could see if Dr Diep would offer you any of those. Good luck

I lost a lot of hair around the scar. Dr. Diep was nice but once the surgery was over he never followed up. My scar is just bigger than I thought it would be. Once my hair from the shock loss grows back it won't be as noticeable. At least I hope it grows back. I had to send the office pictures. They told me I didn't need an appointment that they would call me in a year. You can't tell I had a transplant because I grew my hair longer before the procedure. I will have to have another procedure in a few years so at that time I will probably try to fix the scar then. I probably will have to have a few more transplants.

After my FUT procedure, a lot of the transplanted hair fell out in the same timescale you've outlined. I found that after about 2 months I was back to where I was before I'd had the surgery. Then around month 3 you start to get some initial growth. It's really frustrating waiting, but it should be worth it! My scar now is pretty well invisible - sometimes even the barber doesn't notice it. Did you shave it at 1.5 to show the scar, or is that how you're planning to have it done all the time?
