Almost 3 Years Post Op.
WORTH IT$11,000
Only complaint is that the implanted area is not as dense as i would have liked it. May consider another surgery to make front of hairline denser and maybe lower just a bit as well. My experience with Dr. Diep was overall very good.

11 Months Post-OP
Well, it's been 11 months and I really have to say that I am really satisfied with my results. I hope my journey has help some of you in your procrastination stage. The best advice I can give is that please realize that everyone's results are individual. I have seen and follow people whose hair grew way faster than mind and I have also followed people whose hair grew way slower. Please just have patience with the process you are not gonna see results overnight. Also Post Op, read what other people are doing during their recovery. Dr. Doctors give different instructions for Post Op care and to be honest some of the things I read on the restriction to me are not realistics especially for african american hair. We must condition and moisturize our hair and use oil to lock it in.

Wooooow. Your hairline looks so so natural. Dr. Diep once again did an amazing job. I agree with everything that you say. Everybody's Hair Transplant is different and result will vary from person to person.... Can you also please post your donor area?

To be honest it is hard to see my donor area I have pretty thick hair but I will post pics when I get a chance right now I am enjoying the pool:-)

Looks great. How long did they instruct you not to put oil in your hair.

Hi Sowens2, I wasn't instructed not to use oil but I've heard that others have been instructed not to. Dr. Diep said it was ok to use baby oil on recipient area if I had stubborn scabs which I did. He is also not a fan of Jamaican black castor oil. After my donor area was healed and stitches were removed and the scabs from the recipient area were gone I pretty much went to my regular hair routine. Wash, conditioner, moisturizer and oil. Hope that helps:-)

At one month did u stop wearing scarves out in public and just wear your natural hair out.

I never really wore scarves I just wore headbands to hide my recipient area and brushed my natural hair up in the back and used the headband to hold my hair in place to cover the donor area. Please look at some of my earlier post op pics. I only used a band out in public otherwise I just let my hair breath...alway satin or silk headband and it was alway worn loose not tight so as to avoid any friction in my recipient area...

I am very happy for you .. I am stilll in the shedding phase so my hairline is just as bald as it it was before the surgery, plus pimples.
