WORTH IT
They've definitely fallen off! They looked like diffused brown spots. I have noticed brighter skin - the redness that I usually notice in my skin is gone. I have noticed the pigmented spots that really bothered me before are milder, less noticeable to me. I could easily cover up with foundation if it really bothered me.

Sure does look great. How much was your procedure, did it itch and burn???
Never itched... my procedure was $600 USD because I didn't buy a package. It did feel like a bad sunburn (face felt warm and tingly) for about an hour afterwards. By the time I got back to the office, I felt totally fine.

I just had my second treatment and this time, I bought a package of 5 for $550 each. Same thing...
How terrible did your skin look during the period while everything was flaking/falling off? I saw some progress photos during my consultation and they have almost scared me out of doing this.
It looked like I had darker freckles for a day or two, but nothing that a little photo filter or tinted sunscreen can't fix!

When my 70 year old dad noticed that I had freckles, you know it's bad. LOL! After my two pregnancies, I had experienced more freckles and noticed that older freckles were even darker. I don't do a lot of sun so I was ultra surprised. Because I have Asian skin, I'm very careful about the products I use and who I see for my skin. After a really extensive consultation with Dr. Bitter of Los Gatos, I'm so excited to have my FIRST BBL treatment. I think it's working already and I can't wait to see the results!

Lol, i am in the same boat. My mom also pointed out that I have freckles all over my face and it only took her 24 years to notice that I have freckles all over my cheeks. Go figure asian parents... lol. Can you tell me more about procedure and pain level. Lol
I think most all patients are a little nervous about the pain, but it is almost always unnecessary worry. Everyone is different but at worst it can feel like mild "rubberband pops". A numbing cream can be used if you are feeling it. Just take care when filling out skin type forms. The darker the skin the more careful we put the settings.
