Since I was younger, it has always been my dream...

Since I was younger, it has always been my dream to have my nose done by a plastic surgeon. When i worked in the States, i met couple of friends who had done their noses to some not-so-well-known plastic surgeons, who claimed to be cheaper, but did a good job in the Philippines.

I have a close Filipina friend, who had her nose done in General Santos City, Philippines, during her summer vacation about 5 years ago. Her nose was okay, but not that great, and it was a little improvement in her older appearance, where she does not have a bridge and her nose was flat.

She advised me that she knew a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles, a Filipino, but work as a nurse, but he practice nose job in his house. I was convinced because she is my friend, and I trusted her advise. Beside, it was cheaper and she was claiming this guy trained Dr. Bello back in the day in the Philippines.

Fast forward, I met with the guys, and we scheduled the surgery. It was a local anesthesia and he recommended using an L-shaped silicon implant. The surgery lasted about 30 minutes. It was okay, and I drove home. For three days my face was swollen and it subsided after 4 days. During the 7th day, he removed the suture and by accident, his had pulled the suture really hard and my nose bled.

That was the start infection. The front of my nose where he inserted the implant did not heal even how much antibiotic i took and how much topical antibiotic i applied.

It was a horrible experience and i still have that scar in front of my nose. The implant was removed and there was puss already at that time.

When the implant was removed, my nose started to heal and it want back to the original, except for the scar.

I feel it was a blessing in disguise that the implant was removed because I was not satisfied with his job. It was, to me, very crappy, and I don't feel he is really qualified to have the procedure done.

This June 13, I will have my consultation with Dr. Eric Yapjuangco and I am scheduled to have the surgery performed the next day. I will stay in a hotel in Manila for 12 days before going back home in the City where I live.

I have researched so many plastic surgeons in Korea and the Philippines and, I finally decided to choose Dr.Eric Yapjuangco, because of his track records. His results are amazing. Patients were satisfied and happy. He has artistic touch and he has his own clinic in Mandaluyong.

For now, this it and when the time comes when my surgery will have been completed, I will come back here again and write my daily experiences as I recuperate in my hotel room.

The Dr. was not good. He damaged my nose. He is a practicing plastic surgeon as he claimed in the Philippines back in the day and now he works as a nurse. He claimed to have trained Dr. Bello back in the day, that is why i tried him, plus the recommendation of my friend, who had her nose done in General Santos City, Philippines.
