An excellent practice, excellent staff, excellent doctor.
I was very thorough when researching doctors for an FUE operation.
I wanted to ask all the questions and get the best care, especially because this was my first time ever for a cosmetic type surgery.
I'll admit my case may be less common than most FUE's as I was looking for a facial hair transplant to fill out my beard. However, the techniques, doctor, and general operation is all the same as filling out hair on the head.
That being said, I did extensive online research over a couple months, narrowed down the top few doctors in that specialty and traveled throughout the city (and even outside) to meet them and see their facilities.
Dr. Pak answered all my questions, put me at ease, and never had me meet with a salesperson (which many offices do).
I went to one of the open house days and was able to talk to former patients about their experience, and he even put me in touch with one of his patients who had my specific surgery.
Dr. Pak and everyone in the office was very professional and helpful from the first meeting.
Even in comparing my experience visiting regular doctors offices for routine checkups, I could tell NHI and its staff were some of the best.
It's smoothly run, I never felt rushed or uncomfortable coming in, all the staff and techs were always helpful, all the paperwork I had to fill was always in order, I never had to wait long, and I never felt like I was not taken care of.
Even in follow-up visits the attention to detail and level of care remained top notch.
NHI is not cheap, but it is a fair price. You get what you pay for, and I didn't want to go for a cheaper option especially when it had to do with my body.
Simply put, if you want the best service, with the best doctor, then do not cut corners on cost.
And even though it took a toll on my wallet I don't think it was unjustly overpriced, because in the end I got great care and excellent results.
I was not offered any perks or compensation to write this, I just wanted to share my experience and help others make the right choice.

Thank you for sharing your personal experience -- glad to your beard transplant was a success. Did you take progress photos? If so, we would love to see your transformation, so please add some photos to your review if you're comfortable sharing. How many grafts did you have?
I have photos that I gave to their office (only showing the beard not my face) and I'm sure they'll be happy to share with potential clients when they come for a consult.
But as for showing online, I'm still not 100% comfortable posting photos (as this was my first cosmetic surgery).
Though I will say the results were in line with what I had hoped for- my facial hair is uniform and filled out and not patchy or thin.
I made sure to have reasonable expectations and did not think I'd suddenly have a super dense extremely thick beard.
Yet it was a significant change, and it blended with my natural hair that was already there, which is what I wanted to do and asked for.
