My boobies had their first month anniversary this week! I couldn't be happier with them, despite some slight boob greed here and there. They feel super soft and jiggle enough that non supportive bras are not an option. I never ever had that feeling before! I was sad to have to get rid of a few dresses and tops that didnt fit. And all my padded bras! Threw out the add two cup bras, the pushup gel pads and chicken cutlets. Becase Im still small chested, I don't look like I had a BA at all. I'm Happy with that :)
As far as healing, I have some occasional soreness if I lay on my chest for too long. One of my nipples has some numbness here and there. Scars look fine, I'm not using anything on them. Should I? I'm Massaging when I remember to. cold air doesn't me shrivel up anymore thankfully. All in all, uneventful recovery @one month mark :):):)

You are looking awesome, Xandra, especially at one month...happy one month anniversary! It is so normal for one breast to drop and the other remain high. That will even out in time. As for your areolas, I think they look fine. The difference is so slight, if at all. I think the only one who notices is you, because you are probably looking at them all the time and picking out any imperfections that may (or not) exist. Didn't really notice your nipples facing down in the photos you posted. You look beautiful, sweetie. Just be patient and allow yourself the time required to settle and heal. You look FANTASTIC so early on. Incredible! You're stunning! Happy healing...xoxo

As for the scar, it is not really necessary if you prefer not to, then don't. Just keep some moisturizer on them and genetics will take care of the rest. ;-) Scars take longest to heal/fade. It can take up to a year (sometimes longer) before they blend in with your natural skin color. You're doing well it seems. The occasional soreness is so normal at this stage. Sounds like you're healing well! So happy for you, sweetie!

As an outsider looking at your pics, I only see a slight difference in your breast, only because you mentioned it, we are our own worst critics. I think you look great.

I think you girls are right, definitely nitpicking at myself sometimes. I know i couldn't expect complete symmetry going in but ya know, I had hoped for some reason lol. I'm Happy with the changes to my areolas, i think before they were childlike and now they look more womanly. I'm Very pleased.

Hey girly... I will try to get that video of my massages up today along with my update. You look fantastic!!! I too nitpick myself... quite a bit. The thing is, no one notices the flaws except me. My left is still larger and the areola is now too, but again, only I notice unless I point it out. I have BDD so I understand it all. I am learning to live with my flaws... or ignoring them, lol. But seriously, you look awesome!

Thanks Lynn! I think I will have to agree and the fit is so comfy. So I did see some Warner bras, but nothing in a 32 band. I really wanted one of their wirefree ones. After today I do now one thing though, I will have to try on everything! Even the same brands have inconsistent sizing. Online shopping is out :(

So very true. I have already returned two sporty type bras in a size small. I assumed they'd fit because they were sized small, but nope. The cup fit nice but the straps/band were too loose; therefore, I've put off bra shopping until a later time. I never try on anything at a store, especially bras because it is so hard removing the two bras I wear daily. easier to do at home so I can lay on my bed. lol

Ok I can attest to the trying on everything ordeal. I wanted to buy new sports bras & I had no clue what size. Tried on at least 2 sizes in each style & brand of bra. The salesperson probably thought I was trying to see how many I could smuggle out in my purse or something bc I was taking so long! She even asked, "are you ok in there?" Lol. I tried on 836 bras to buy only 2 of them. Not to mention it was still a bit stiff/sore so I was slow pulling them all on & off over my head!

When do you get to wear regular bras Lynn? That's when you'll be able to go on a bra shopping spree and be sure you have the perfect size. The one size S sports bra I got I wore in my profile pic and while it looks pretty it is uncomfortable and digs in everywhere. I don't feel like a M, I don't fit in a S. I'm going to get a proper fitting once I heal to figure this out once and for all

lol @ taking 70 thousand bras in the dressing room, and leaving with two! My dressing room was like a lingerie war zone. Thankfully I was all alone in there, no salespeople, so I was able to try everything and take some pics without feeling weird. I didn't wanna be all "yeah I don't know my bra size because they're new" to some complete stranger lol

I can wear a regular bra in about a couple weeks (I wear a reg bra in the shower), but for a couple hours only should I want to go out for dinner and want to wear a dress. He even said I could go braless while showering, but it just feels too weird without a bra. I feel like I am going to fall. I catch myself holding my breasts without my bras on. Any way, I am to put the support bras back on when I get home from an evening out. I have to wear support for 6 months 24/7.

Bra sizing is stupid ha. I got a good laugh of the 32B pic haha. It looks like a child's bra on you! (Congrats on that btw! lol) I love the bra that you said is your favorite. It is beautiful on you! Are you able to wear any bra you want yet? I still have to wear no underwire for a bit longer. I don't mind too much, but I am looking forward to at least a few pretty bras & maybe some push ups for cleavage sake. :D

Oh it is SO stupid! I thought it was difficult when I was flat chested but having something to put in the bra makes it harder to fit. But having a bra be too small, OMG that was a fantastic feeling! That's why I had to throw that pic in there, 32B my butt. Yay!!!! So my doc would rather I go braless but he didn't ban anything outright. The pushup bras are way too uncomfortable still so maybe in the coming months. I want cleavage one day too! The black bra I've been wearing around has underwire and is comfortable as long as it doesn't rub the one bruised spot on my right boob. I feel better in that one anyway, I tried some soft bras and they have zero support. Must be because my boobies are overs, but they bounce all over the place and that hurts. Who knew?!

Ha ha yeah, I was just in sporting goods store so thankfully I didn't feel like I owed her any kind of explanation. Once I buy some regular bras though I'll probably end up telling the girl at Soma, or VS, or wherever, bc I need to get sized too. I'm sure the salespeople at stores like that are probably pretty used to it any way.

You know, VS way of measuring was waaaay off for me!!! I used the calculator on their website. Thankfully I had one well fitting bra to go off of and that same size in VS fit fine. I ended up not buying any though bc things are fluffing!!!!! So exciting! I'm gonna wait til week 6 in hopes I'll get another inch he he.

Bra shopping is so mich fun! I went on a spree at Nodsteoms yesterday. Go there to be sized! They are trained so well and have seen lots of ladies with BAs. She even have me advice on what's best for BA boobies! I LOVE the Wacoal bras and wanted the black and beige with lace underneath you tried but they didn't have my size. Guess I'll pop into Macy's next for some fun this weekend!!

Bra shopping

User Avatar

I'm so tired of being nipply in clothes or hiding my chest in my hubby's tshirts! So I took the girls bra shopping. I had picked up a well fitting 32DD bra from wacoal so off I went to Macy's to try some more of that brand on. All the reviews were favorable for these especially for small band sizes like myself. I won't update any nude pics until I see any favorable changes in the girls. They still have yellow bruises and uneven nipples and some upper pole swelling that I don't love. They look perfect in bras thou :):):):
On another note does anyone else find bra sizing to be random as $%#*? Omg what a hassle

Biggest hassle ever. You look great in that bra. The lady at the Macy's near me was a great help in choosing bras, or tried to be. I didn't go with her suggestions (stuck with my doc's). She suggested Bali or Warner. I don't care for either but if I had to choose, I'd pick Warner.

I like Victoria's Secret the best- best fit, comfort & they look sexy! And with sales/ coupons in the price range of the rest. They size bigger- but better bigger # than smaller#!lol!

I went there yesterday, fitting into their 32D but with gaps at the band. The saleswoman told me to check online for bands in the 30 range since VS doesn't carry them. I think for sexy time bc they won't stay on that long LOL!!

Nipples galore, huh? Have you tried the silicone covers? They have saved me time and time again until I was able to go bra shopping. My PS told me to wait until 3 months to go shopping, and it was so hard waiting! As soon as I was cleared, I left my doctor's office and hit VS. I am a 32DD at VS. I really wanted to get some of their really pretty patterned or lacy bras, but they only have certain sizes, which is quite a bummer. I tried squeezing into some 32 and 34 D's, no such luck. I haven't tried elsewhere yet. Yes, bra shopping was great, and pretty pathetic at the same time. Make sure you don't complain to the naturally busted clerks, they have NO sympathy, lol! Good luck in your shopping, give it some more time for the girls to settle and you'll probably fit into a lot more styles.

OMG so nipply! I have seen the silcone covers around but didnt buy them because my nipples hate everything right now. Clothes touching them, shower water, cold air... dont get me started. That makes me shrivel up! The VS clerk was super helpful when I went in. I ended up not buying anything there bc i prefer a tighter band than their 32D and they don't carry those. She was narrow chested too, go figure! I dont think she could tell the girls were fake in my granny bra lol.
