Hello!! My story is the same as many. I have three children 5 and under. I gained between 30-40 pounds with each pregnancy and breastfed all 3. I am almost (3 lbs to go!) to my pre- pregnancy weight and am continuing a healthier lifestyle. I have always had larger breasts and when I finished nursing my youngest they really started to show signs I do not like. I am a 36DD (long lol) and would like to maintain that size only fuller and lifted. I've had three consults in the last month and finally decided on a surgeon. My surgeon has recommended a breast reduction of my left breast to match the other side (and a lift of both) and we have not decided on a size implant yet. I will also be getting a tummy tuck and lipo of my hips and upper abdomen. I have found this site to not only be addicting but helpful and informational; so my goal is to update often throughout my journey!

I am two weeks away from my surgery date and I am going to start this recovery support Friday. Directions say 14 days before and after surgery. I asked my patient coordinator the doctors opinion and she said he doesn't feel strongly either way! That I will be fine either way. I'm thinking that if they don't hurt why not try?!!! She also knew the brand well and said that VitaMedica is a good well known brand with a lot of research behind them. I also bought the Arnica Montana which is supposed to be good for bruising-we shall see!!

Do you feel the supplements helped?

Hi! I've been taking them for the recommended 2 weeks prior and my surgery is tomorrow. So we shall see! This is my first cosmetic procedure, so I have only the stories of the good people on here to compare to (as far as recovery). I'll continue them for 2 weeks post op as well. I'm hoping for the best.

Pre-op Wednesday

I go in for my pre op Wednesday! I swear the hardest part during this beginning process for me has been trying to find people to watch my 3 boys during the work week. I am a stay at home Mom and asking for help is generally hard for me to do. I gather from all the people posting on here that I'm going to require lots of help post op too so I'd better get used to it! Anyway, excited for Wednesday to button up final details of my surgery.
