12 weeks PO

Moving right along here. I had a minor setback in both motivation and energy to workout a few weeks back. I had just started to feel I could get back to where I was working out and I got kidney stones! They were extremely painful and I ended up with an infection as well. I am almost done with the antibiotics and hoping that once I am done my energy will return. Even though I have this flat belly now, I feel like my butt is getting bigger! Drinking a TON of water and praying I passed it! Haven't felt pain in a week but never saw it?! Doc said it was 5mm so you would think I would have seen it pass. Anyhow, took some pics this morning. I'm still down in weight from pre-op which makes me happy although I'd be happy with at least 5-10 more lbs lost. Tummy is flat, scars are doing ok. Not excited about one side lift scar-will talk with PS office at next weeks appointment. My swollen who-ha has gone down a lot! I forget to put on my spanx some days and realize I don't really need it. Still wear binder to do housework or exercise. Happy healing everyone!

It can't be 2 months already??

Wow looked at the calendar and it's true, it's been 2 months! I've been healing great. I've been using silicone strips now for about 3.5 weeks (I wear them all day/ night and remove for shower). I just put my last strip on my left breast since it's finally not scabby or open anywhere. I mostly use bio oil and cocoa butter all over, but am on the market for a good scar cream. My BB has a slight "ropey" feel inside or at least 2 bumps I want to ask my PS about. My swelling has gone down quite a bit - although not in the pubic area. I wear some kind of compression still day and night. I don't see my PS until August, so I'm just doing what I think and have been kind of "on my own". I have a ton of questions lined up for him lol!! I've said it before and I'll say it again- this surgery and even the pain was completely worth it!!

Before & After fun - almost 7 weeks PO

So I've been pretty darn swollen lately and feeling bummed about that. I decided to take some"after" pics in same position as the "before" I feel better already :). I don't go long without my binder or spanx, still wearing 24/7. I walked on the treadmill today and did some squats and leg slides-it didn't feel terrible so I think I can move up the speed a little more. Doing breast massages daily. My sleep is just ok-I sleep good one night then terrible the next night. I'm able to kind of sleep on my side, but not as much as I'd like. I really need to drink more water. In the beginning that's all I did, now that life is back in full swing I tend to forget. I started the silicone sheets 2 weeks ago so the jury is still out on those. They are kind of a pain to have to remove to shower and may look into something else.....

Overall rating

I am a 35 year old mom of three. I always knew I would need a lift one day, especially after nursing three little ones. I started working out and living a healthier lifestyle just before my youngest turned one and I was left with saggy skin and breasts. I read so many reviews of women doing their surgeries later and almost all regretted not doing sooner. I decided now was the time for me, so I met with two other surgeons on my quest for a mommy makeover prior to meeting with Dr. Aiello's office. I was impressed with both doctors I met with, but had a friend that underwent the "mommymakeover" with Dr. Aiello and I thought I'd check him out. The office itself is nice and in a nice area of Los Alamitos. We met with Anna, patient coordinator and Dr. Aiello. I did not meet a patient coordinator at previous doctors, and thought that was nice having someone as a contact there to ask questions, etc. Having already done this type of meeting, I was eager to see if he had the same thoughts and if we were on the same page. Our meeting went well, Dr. Aiello is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions without feeling rushed. I was already semi-educated on the drainless TT from research and prior meetings, so I was happy to hear that he performs almost all of his tummy tucks this way. My husband and I left the office that afternoon, both feeling confident in our choice with Dr. Aiello and his staff. Fast-forward to my surgery day. I was met by Tracey, his nurse, whose role in my opinion is just as important was knowledgeable, direct and to the point (which I respect) and kind as well. While I'm only a little more than a month post op, my results have been amazing and recovery is going great. Something I didn't consider pre op was the after care experience. I have been to maybe 6 post-op appointments and with the exception of one time I always get back and seen on time. These appointments are critical, because you'll likely have a ton of questions and with each day/ week things are changing. This was the first plastic surgery I'd ever experienced and have been following all of my post op directions to a T. Kacey is the girl at the front and she is very sweet and helpful every time I visit as well. Would and have recommend Dr. Aiello and his office to anyone looking to undergo this surgery. I have a feeling I'm going to rock a bikini for the first time in YEARS this summer!! Thanks to Dr. Aiello!!
