Well ive been on here before sharing my journey with my bbl in August last summer..I loved my results from the procedure, but like i was warned by my then surgeon, i would most likely require a tummy tuck,as i have had 2 children, and lipo can make loose skin worse.. My stomach was not that bad after the lipo, however I did have some loose skin i did not like..i went back and forth for months on wether i should proceed with a tummy tuck or not.. i wasnt sure i wanted to go back to the same surgeon who did my bbl..while i did love my results, i was not a huge fan of hiw his office operated..you can look back at my previous reviews and see the issues i had..I decided to find someone i connected with better, and whose office workers were more reliable..A tummy tuck is a very serious cosmetic surgery, and i wanted to make sure i could find a Dr that not only had the skills i was looking for, but also a great bedside manner.. I had a consult with Dr Richard Reish, and immediately knew he was the one..i booked surgery a week later..I was very nervous and second guessed myself about this surgery over and over again..I wasnt sure the pain and scar was worth a little loose skin, but Dr Reish made me feel so comfortable i decided to go through with it..I had my surgery on the 20th..i am now 5 days postop..Dr reish was amazing,as was his whole surgery team...I received a text from the doctor for the next 3 days checking on me,as well as the nurse and the amazing anesthesiologist...I will say this surgery is no joke..the first 3 days are a blur to me,because I had to stay on my Percocet to not feel the pain,..i couldnt walk upright for 3 days either..I am now on day 5 and feeling alot better..im off the Percocet and taking only extra strength tylenol...I have 2 drains that i thought was going to be the worst thing ever, but it actually isnt so bad..I have a binder on,so i have no clue what my stomach looks like..i have my one week postop on wed the 27th, so ill be posting pics shortly

Hey all..Went for my one week checkup today. Was able to get one drain out,but still have to keep the other one in till next week..I was a little bummed cuz i thought i would be getting them both out, but on the brighter side i got rid of the one that was starting to bother me for a couple dsys now..
Now ladies not to scare anyone, but the drain being pulled out was brutal. It was a second of pain, but it really took my breathe away..Dr Reish told me i was gonna wanna sit down right after, and boy was he right..Poor Dr Reish felt so bad that he had to pull it the way he did,but he said it had to be done that way. Now ive read alot of reviews on tummy tucks, and most girls said it didn't hurt, just felt weird or uncomfortable, so i was not prepared, and i normally have a very high pain threshold but i guess everyone feels things differently, so dont get nervous..I will definitely be taking a pain killer before i go get the other one taken out...
I was told i could finally take a real shower today, and omg did it feel amazing lol..I thought i was gonna be traumatized to see my stomach for the first time, but it wasn't as bad as i thought it was gonna look..Im not saying it looks good right now,but i was expecting to see a horror show.. I am extremely swollen, so i looked about 4 months pregnant, which was a little upsetting to see being that my stomach was extremely flat, since last year when i had my bbl and my stomach was aggressively lipoed..I did the tummy tuck because I had some loose skin that bothered me, but in clothes i looked snatched..I hada moment of regret, thinking about how nice and flat my stomach use to look, but i had to remind myself that I did this because i wanted to look good out of clothes too,and maybe dare i say...wear a 2 piece bathing suit?? I remembered how swollen i was after the lipo too, and that eventually it goes away and the results come through, and how happy I am now that i did it. So ladies as hard as it is during the healing process ..try to remember that our bodies have been thru alot, and it is going to take some time for our bodies to heal.. Dr Reish was very pleased with the way my stomach looked at only one week, even with the swelling he said he believed i will have an amazing outcome..I have my next appointment next week, and will update again..Here is some pics..they arent so pretty, but i am going to try to post as many pics as i can thru the healing process for all you ladies

Thanks for your update. It really helped me feel more confident in my decision to have the mommy makeover with Dr Reish. I was second guessing myself and going back and forth whether I should go thru it or not. However, after reading your comments and seeing your pics, I am now super excited and can't wait till my surgery date. Did you have the exparel pain injections for your post op pain? Sending you lots of good wishes and speedy recovery!!!

The first 2 to 3 days are uncomfortable but not unbearable, if you take your pain pills on schedule you will be fine..then you feel some tightness, but not really pain..i had just lipo and fat transfer to my butt a year ago,and that was worse to me.
