Eager, happy and scared all bundled up in one....
WORTH IT$7,950
Eager, happy and scared all bundled up in one. Finally, I have made the decision to have a rhinoplasty. It has been years of contemplating whether or not I need it. After years of dealing with low self-esteem and ridiculed by others, I decided to do this for me. I think my nose is huge, the bridge is wide and my tip is very bulbous.
I have seen many doctors for a rhinoplasty consult, but meeting Dr. Reish today was a breath of fresh air. His staff is extremely beautiful and welcoming, did not make you feel uncomfortable. I was really pleased that the doctor really took time to listen to what problems I had, instead offering his suggestions. He carefully examined my nose, and I felt comfortable opening up and not feeling one bit embarrassed. Shortly after agreeing that he is the perfect candidate to perform my surgery, the very beautiful coordinator assisted me in finding a suitable date and I was done. It was probably the easiest consult I have ever done, I did not feel hesitant and truly I am excited to see my results.
Working towards a better me is my mission and I am going all the way!

I hope you have excellent results! But how can people ridicule you? I see a very attractive woman in your pictures! Seriously, people are mean, you are too pretty.

Thanks, growing up from teenager to date people find ways to insult me for my uniquely shaped nose. From that fostered my low self esteem.

Surgery date is getting closer!
I need your support here guys, what do I need to stock up on post surgery? I've seen videos of people buying arnica and nasal spray. I want to make sure I'm prepared.
Thank you all!
Thank you all!

Alright now!!! I'm super excited for you, pretty lady! This is not an easy journey, and if there is one thing I can recommend you get lots of, it's recovery knowledge! It is an emotional roller coaster and I read almost every review on RS and you think you are prepared, but it can take a toll, but don't fret, we are all behind you :) As far as products:
-(2) Small gel icepacks for your bruised eyes (budget?-lots of spoons in the freezer)
-Arnica gel and Arnica Montana (Vitamin Shoppe)
-Extra Strength Tylenol
-Stool softener (Pain meds cause constipation)
-Neosporin for incisions (if having alar reduction)
-Saline Spray
-Travel neck pillow (helps with sleeping)
-Q-tips (I used these to apply ointment and clean my nose)
-Ricola - for sore/dry throat
I'm super excited to finally be able to pass on some knowledge :) Can I ask. What is your doctor doing to your nose! I'll be following you and please fell free to ask any questions! Good Luck!

Pretty! Thank you soo much for this. I have seen so many videos and read so many reviews I think I am over-preparing. I am basically reducing the overall size of my nose, narrowing the bridge, smaller tip and an alarpasty.
Thanks for your support, and you look great! Love your profile. Best wishes!

I had a nose job many moons ago. I didn't need anything after the op. Why would you need any nasal spray or arnica? It's all done from the inside and no one is looking unless you are a dentist.

There was no pain and the bruising under the eyes went away in a few days. It was all very easy and pain free.

Gobi, Thanks for the good words, but it does not hurt to be prepared. Thanks again!
