Hmmmm. I wonder...do you think lipo will take care of it? I've seen some great things come out from lipo alone. That said, I thought I could get a small incision and my surgeon told me that I had extra skin and barely any fat handing off my sides. Sigh. So, my incision is honest to God side of my hip to side of my hip. A frankenscar for sure ugh but no more hanging part. Please update to let us know what your surgeon says!!

Hi. Yes I think Lipo will take care of it and a nice waist trainer after that. I'll keep you posted on what my surgeon says Dr. Reish is a great surgeon who wants the best results. So fingers crossed

Hey everyone-
Just wanted you to know that I'm officially 6mths post-opt. I'm not sure how I feel at the moment because although the center of my stomach is flat (when standing only), my sides appear to hang over my bikini. I've joined kickboxing but honestly, I've only gained to the point where I was prior to surgery. Waiting for my next appt since Dr.Reish thinks I should aim to lose between 10-15lbs. Any thoughts or advice? I will post a picture tomorrow

Almost 3 Days p/o

It's about 1:50am and I'm writing this since I cannot sleep in this awful upright position. On the day of my procedure I was called in a little early, which worked out great b/c I didn't want my husband rushing to pick me up after the kids. I also didn't want them to see me getting wheeled out in a chair (standard procedure). I have to say the entire staff was friendly & did their best to calm my nerves. The anesthesiaologst Christine was amazing! She was perky and on point w/monitoring me. I still have these annoying drains, walking slumped over and I have to say, everyone was right. I must've asked myself 5x's why did I do this? I will post pics as soon as I can. I'll ask Dr.Reish for a few before pics & I'll have my hubby take a pic once this band and drains come off.

Hey there! Just read your review. I got a tt and BA in May. After my drains were removed, the holes didn't close and started to widen gradually. I'm currently getting them treated with a vacuum dressing and it is not exactly fun. You are at about 6mos post op. I was wondering how you're doing now? Was your tt incision smaller because you had lipo first? Hope your healing was without complications and that your result has made you glad you did the procedure!!

Hi. I didn't have a problem with my drains being removed, that part worked out just fine, and I don't think having the Lipo first had anything to do with the incision. I received several consults and they all wanted to do a hip to hip incision.- except this dr.& thank God I've healed pretty good. My only problem are my flanks. I haven't gained any extra weight yet I have love handles which tells me neither dr removed fat from my sides.
