I have been considering a breast reduction and lift for several years. After age 50 my breasts started to get droopy. I always had great breasts but aging changes our bodies. My surgeon did an excellent job! I have zero regrets and I'm so happy that I did it . It's been three weeks since my surgery and I love the results already. If you are contemplating this surgery, I say go for it!

You look AMAZING! I'm following you to show my surgeon how I want mines to turn out. I don't want to be bigger just not sag anymore and go braless a treat too! Do you mind if I ask your pre sx cup size?

I was a 34 E before surgery. I don't know my new size yet but I think probably a D cup. So happy that my boobs are back up where they belong!

We have very similar before boobs, and very similar results! Ageing is very difficult, menopause does strange things to our bodies. You look amazing. Congrats

I have my surgery June 30th. I am 54, and I agree that no one really tells you how much menopause changes your body.

Hi, can I ask you, do you know how many grams of tissue were removed?

80 on one side and 100 in the other. Doctor said it was mostly skin that was removed.

8 Weeks Post Op - Started Silicone Scar Therapy

User Avatar

Now that my surgery incisions are closed and no scabs are present it's time for scar therapy. These silicone tapes are reusable for about 3 weeks. They are pretty pricey though. I made the investment in my new boobs so I should do everything to take care of them. My scars are very flat and I'm sure they will fade over time. My boobs look good!!!

80 grams on 1 side and 100 grams on the other side. My reduction was mostly skin.

I'm scheduled (finally) for July 17th. I see my PS on Thurs and am going to take your photos as my examples. May I ask if he did the anchor procedure; what cup size you were before/after and how tall/weight are you? You don't appear to have needed any lipo on the sides/under the arm, so I'm guessing that your BMI is in the normal range. I was doing ok with that until I started some meds and gained 20#. I'm presently a 38 DDD. My preference is to remain a full D as I am nearly 5'10" and want to remain proportionate. Your surgeon did a lovely job!

Thank you! Yes, I had the anchor done. I was spilling over a 34 E or 36 DDD and I asked for a C cup. I'm still a little swollen and I'm measuring at 34 DD currently. I'm hoping I will end up with 34 D. I'm 5'4" and weigh 158. My boobs are not much small but they are lifted so nicely. The lift and skin removal is incredible. I can go braless and I look good.

Thank you s much for your response and for being so candid. I really like your PS's work. I'll be sure to ask about getting the patches for scar prevention. That's not something I've seen before.

What brand of silicone scar therapy patches idid you use? Out of curiosity, i looked on Amazon and they carry them! Don't know that they are physician recommended, but thought it was interesting!
