WORTH IT
It's 1 & half years I've been looking for reduce my long philtrum (20mm) and have a better tooth show. For many people it wasn't shocking but I was obsessed by this (I saw my turtle face in every photos :-D) Thanks to this site and all rs members I discover "the solution".
I spent many times researching the good surgeon in France and made comparisons ( customers content, explore website & social network, send photos by email to have an advice).
Finally I decided to meet Mr. M. in Paris (4 hours by train from my city).
The consultation was quite quick but he gave me the information I needed :

- Am I a good candidate : yes because of a long philtrum and a minimal tooth show and because I want a more feminine look.
- How will the operation process : (for many surgeon it's a local anesthesia) for me it Will be a global anesthesia (45 min) I guess it was for a more easier work for my surgeon. He used a endonasal procedure which consist in put the scars into the nostrils and not below (subnasal procedure). He tells me it will be more natural and the scars will be less visible.
- The most important question for me HOW MANY MM will be removed? Because I read many reviews, I was focused on 8 mm without considering the shape I could have.
- and some others questions but different according to each people : swelling time, final shape, mm the lip can drop,...).

After this consultation I planned a surgery day in September.

I couldn't post one picture right after the surgery like people who have local anesthesia. Then I had a lot of bandages. No pain. It's only difficult to open my mouth to speak or eat. But the results sounds good.

I guess I'm lucky because I'm not very swelled but my nose look like a potato. I mesure my philtrum this morning and it's around 13 mm (7 mms removed). I thought my surgeon could remove more than 7 mm but actually he explain me why he couldn't (next update)
