Despise some reviews here about fillers not having good results with malar festoons, I had restylane filler done and they are GONE!!! And it looks great. Dr Ort in lone tree CO took his time to see where to inject and made the injections as painless as possible. My face looks even and both sides the same and no more tired look !! Strongly advice you see dr Ort he knows what he is doing and not overdoing!!!

Are you still happy with the result?
Yes. I am. Looks still as in the pic ;)
I have festoons. Hoping it helps me too!
Voluma is also good for the fantastic festoons.
Did he use the microcannula method?
Yep he did. Now almost 2 yrs ago and it starts showing a little. So I'm due again in a few months.
Correction a year and a half ago ! Just actually checked the date.
Wow! That's great. Thank you for responding.
It lasted a year and a half? I have malar bags looking exactly like yours, and I had lost all hope after I tried restylane 2 years ago and it only made them worse, but my injector was completely inexperienced and had never done it before. I would be satisfied with just an improvement, really, but I don't know where to find anyone good near me... :(
Yes I have heard fillers are one way of getting rid of these nuisance things ..yours look great ..:) it says Canadian dollars did you get them in Canada ?and if so where ?
Did he inject the filler deep or just near under the skin to correct this?
Deep, I am assuming. I had Restylane for similar looking malar bags and it turned out horrible because he injected superficially. It made them way more pronounced and caused severe discolouration that I still struggle with to this day, almost 3 years later
I had cheek filler deep and it caused this Malar Bags. Afraid to get it dissolved... now have to live with that!
I wouldn't hesitate having them dissolved. I am likely where I am today because I didn't pursue dissolving properly. Now the filler has apparently been encapsulated by scar tissue and seems really hard to get rid of.
That these dissolve on their own is absolute [RS bleep]. Many areas where they inject this has very little or no natural hyaluronidase to break up the filler. Especially underneath the eyes.

I have the filler in my cheekbone area 0,5 ml each cheek. It seems you are well informed about it. Do you know if filler dissolve in cheeks on its own? Maybe it’s better to wait for me?

Wow, amazing results! How many units of Restylane did you receive?
