Also...

After many consultations with other doctors, I ultimately decided to go with Dr. Broadway for a few specific reasons. One, he is not only very experienced but he is also very skilled at achieving a natural look, which was really important to me. It really is an art. Most importantly in my case, he is very experienced with shaped implants. He's been using them for many years because he was part of the study to get them approved. There were only certain doctors around the country who were able to use them and he is one of them. My advice for anyone considering shaped implants is to make sure you go to a doctor who is highly experienced with them. They are more difficult to place correctly than the round implants because the pocket has to be tighter and more exact to insure they don't move around. The office has a professional, friendly vibe and is also very beautiful.

I can't say enough good things about my experience on the day of surgery. The nurses were so great and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. The pain after surgery was most intense in the first 48 hours but after that it was minimal. I only had to take the pain medicine for 3 days and then switched to over-the-counter pain medicine for another few days. Overall the recovery went really well and my scar healed up really nicely.

The last thing I want to share with you all is that I had a tough time adjusting to my new body the first few months post surgery. This is actually more common than I realized. I had some days where I loved them and some days where I really didn't like them at all. My husband would tell me I was crazy but it didn't matter, I just didn't like them on those days. It only lasted for a few months (4-5) but it was tough on the "off" days. So if this happens to you just know that most likely you are going to love them given time. It has been one year since my surgery and I couldn't be happier with everything and I am so glad I decided to go through with the surgery. My clothes fit better, wearing swimsuits is so much more fun, and I just love the way I look and feel. VERY HAPPY :) I will post some pictures soon.

I am very happy with the results of my breast...

I am very happy with the results of my breast augmentation done by Dr. Broadway. I was very nervous to have it done but he did an amazing job and the whole experience was top notch. These reviews were so helpful to me when I was considering surgery so I will try to be as thorough as possible. A little bit about me- I'm 5'4'', 110 lbs and after breastfeeding my two kids I went from a B to an A cup. I had wanted larger breasts for a long time but I also wanted to make sure they looked somewhat natural since I didn't have much tissue to begin with. I was considering getting either moderate round or the shaped Sientra. I would have only been able to get 300cc if I went with the round moderates and I didn't like the way high profile looked when I tried on the testers. I decided to go with the shaped Sientra classic base 350cc, and I feel like I made the right decision. (most of the time :) I still second guess myself on some days and think I should have gone with the round, but most days I am glad I went with the anatomicals. They gave me the volume that I wanted and still look natural. I was a little worried that they wouldn't give me the fullness on top like the round implants would, but it hasn't been an issue. I now wear a 32 DD at Victoria Secret but they look more like a full C cup in my opinion. They really started to soften up around 6 months and more so at 9 and they still seem to be getting softer. They aren't as soft as the rounds but they still feel really natural. One thing I have noticed with them is that they get cold sometimes. I’m not exactly sure how to describe it and I don't know if the regular silicone implants do the same thing or not. I have heard other people say the same thing though who have the highly cohesive silicone implants (shaped implants). It doesn't bother me really, it’s more of just a weird sensation.
