WORTH IT$5,000
My vaser was with Dr Grant Hamlet in February 2013 and my arms were my main problem. I had thought about it for a long time and would exercise at least 5 times a week and keep a very healthy diet. No matter what I always held fat on my arms and they just grew bulky when I exercised. Dr Grant Hamlet was recommended to me and I was told he is very passionate about vaser. This is true, you can tell the moment you meet him in consult. He explained that he could definitely get the circumference of my arms smaller and nicely sculpted. I also had my inner and outer thighs done and wanted a more prominent 'thigh gap'. Dr Hamlet explained that the thigh gap is something we are born with (something to do with the way the hips are built) and one is only able to remove a certain amount from the inner thigh so I felt so confident in him doing my vaser lipo as he carefully highlighted the risks and left the decision for me to way up the pro's and cons. He also explained the aftercare in detail and the importance of good compression garment after surgery which I had to wear for 4 weeks post op. I am so happy with my vaser results by Dr. Grant Hamlet, I would really recommend him to anyone considering having vaser. My arms are really nicely toned now and when I exercise I no longer bulk, I look femininely lean and my arms look elegant. I am genuinely so happy with my results.

Congrats, so glad that you are happy with your results. Are you comfortable sharing photos with us? Can you tell us a bit more about post op, was massaging the areas treated part of the after care?

Hey Eva,
I have finally got around to posting some photos.. Sorry for delay. I strongly recommend having manual lymphatic drainage massage after having vaser. This really help to break down fibrous tissue, get rid of fluid and speed up the recovery. I tried two different therapists for the MLD massage (two different companies), the first one was a mobile therapist that came to my house and the experience was so terrible, the therapist had no clue (!!!) what she was doing and I cancelled all my sessions and went with a specialist post surgical MLD therapist on Harley Street, she was called Raddy Dimitrova and she was incredible. She had equipment to measure the fluid in your body so she knew where to concentrate on and also aspirated fluid thru a syringe (this was painful but I felt so much better afterwards). The massage is not comfortable but it is so worth it as you leave feeling so much better and the result will be improved from it. She was breaking down the fibrous tissue which when left untreated can leave the skin uneven and give a wavy appearance.
I had to pay for the aftercare separately. I would recommend doing at least 5 sessions, ideally 10. They are £150/session (trust me, they are worth it! Don't skimp on the aftercare). I also did a lot of massaging myself at home whenever I had the chance, at least once a day with bio-oil. It is quite uncomfortable massaging yourself as the areas where surgery has been done are sore and in some areas numb but I would suggest to do it as much as possible. I could feel little fluid and air bubbles under the skin as I was massaging which is a strange feeling but as the weeks went on, this disappeared.
MLD therapist Raddy's details are: ***.com I really recommend her for aftercare!

I hope this helps x

Thanks for your reply :) I love the idea of a mobile therapist, what a great idea - but sorry it wasn't a good experience. I am glad that you found someone that you felt comfortable with, even though the massage was painful, but it was worth it in the end. I am so glad things are going well for you. All the best.

Hi Nozima, the community manager removed the info that I posted for you. Just Google The Hamlet Clinic and you will find Raddy's details as she is based in the same building on Harley Street as Dr Hamlet. Send me a PM if you need the info but they are easy to find online. All te best! Warm regards x

Hello. Amazing results! I am desperate for this treatment. After years of struggling with my weight, I am now left with unsightly flabby arms which refuse to be toned. Summer is a complete misery for me as I am constantly covering up my arms and legs.
Can you please advise of the costs of your surgery and if the MLD was £150 per session? Can I PM you?

Thank you so much!

I'm very glad I had the procedure :)
For prices you are best off to go for a consultation tbh as it depends on how much treatment is needed, type of Vaser as I believe there are different definitions and this is also so individual on what is needed etc. My surgery was 4 years ago now too so I don't know if prices are still the same.
Yes the MLD was £150 for each session.
I hope this helps :)
I really hope you find the solution and it gives you happiness and confidence that you deserve. Go for a consultation and see what you can do, it's the first step!
All the best x

Wanted to ask if you are still happy with your results? Any lumps or skin looseness?

No lumps, bumps or loose skin! So happy I had this done :)

Thank you for getting back to me! Did you only have the under arm treated or circumferential around the arm? May I ask how old you were when you had it done
-- 20s, 30s? I'm afraid I may not have that great skin elasticity since I'm in my 30s now. Do you remember how long it took for you to be able to use your arms 100% after lipo? Sorry for all the questions!! Wish I could see how your arms look like now!

No problem. I had the circumference of the arm done. The doctor said it would achieve the best result to de-bulk and make it natural looking. When I underwent the treatment I was 33. I can send you a photo of how it looks today if you want? Send me a DM hun as it will be quicker than me updating the review with pics. More than happy to share photos x

Oh forgot your other question... and it took 6 weeks before I was able to use my arms fully after the op. 6 weeks post op I would bicycle again And do arm exercises at the gym. Felt a bit tender at first so ease yourself into it slowly. But doing light stuff like every day activities like getting dressed, making a cuppa etc I was back to doing pretty straight after the procedure. Like if you have young kids you may not be able to lift them for 1 - 2 week at least ...
