-- 20s, 30s? I'm afraid I may not have that great skin elasticity since I'm in my 30s now. Do you remember how long it took for you to be able to use your arms 100% after lipo? Sorry for all the questions!! Wish I could see how your arms look like now!

My vaser was with Dr Grant Hamlet in February 2013...

Hey Eva,
I have finally got around to posting some photos.. Sorry for delay. I strongly recommend having manual lymphatic drainage massage after having vaser. This really help to break down fibrous tissue, get rid of fluid and speed up the recovery. I tried two different therapists for the MLD massage (two different companies), the first one was a mobile therapist that came to my house and the experience was so terrible, the therapist had no clue (!!!) what she was doing and I cancelled all my sessions and went with a specialist post surgical MLD therapist on Harley Street, she was called Raddy Dimitrova and she was incredible. She had equipment to measure the fluid in your body so she knew where to concentrate on and also aspirated fluid thru a syringe (this was painful but I felt so much better afterwards). The massage is not comfortable but it is so worth it as you leave feeling so much better and the result will be improved from it. She was breaking down the fibrous tissue which when left untreated can leave the skin uneven and give a wavy appearance.
I had to pay for the aftercare separately. I would recommend doing at least 5 sessions, ideally 10. They are £150/session (trust me, they are worth it! Don't skimp on the aftercare). I also did a lot of massaging myself at home whenever I had the chance, at least once a day with bio-oil. It is quite uncomfortable massaging yourself as the areas where surgery has been done are sore and in some areas numb but I would suggest to do it as much as possible. I could feel little fluid and air bubbles under the skin as I was massaging which is a strange feeling but as the weeks went on, this disappeared.
MLD therapist Raddy's details are: ***.com I really recommend her for aftercare!
I hope this helps x
Thanks for your reply :) I love the idea of a mobile therapist, what a great idea - but sorry it wasn't a good experience. I am glad that you found someone that you felt comfortable with, even though the massage was painful, but it was worth it in the end. I am so glad things are going well for you. All the best.
Can i ask how often you needed to go for massage sessions?
Every week,twice a week, ect?
And is it possible to send me the address fot Raddy please as i am planning to get my upper arms done soon in April Many thanks,
Akhmedova

Can you please advise of the costs of your surgery and if the MLD was £150 per session? Can I PM you?

I'm very glad I had the procedure :)
For prices you are best off to go for a consultation tbh as it depends on how much treatment is needed, type of Vaser as I believe there are different definitions and this is also so individual on what is needed etc. My surgery was 4 years ago now too so I don't know if prices are still the same.
Yes the MLD was £150 for each session.
I hope this helps :)
I really hope you find the solution and it gives you happiness and confidence that you deserve. Go for a consultation and see what you can do, it's the first step!
All the best x
