I decided to do something other than surgery to revive my skin and tone of face having had fillers done before and quite happy with the results from same place. I went for the PRP treatment for face and it was absolutely painless which is the good thing, or maybe the anesthetic applied worked too well, whichever. However a month and half later hoping and excited to see any results whatsoever, I will conclude that this procedure is a waste of money! it did not improve anything even 1%! And I feel bad even more because I spent 4x the money on it due to my choice of going to the best in town surgeon. its not his fault, its a procedure and as a patient its for us to decide if we want to have it done. however, my review is now simply regarding the effectivenesss of this procedure, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND. pls spend your money on BOTOX!

I'm sorry to hear that you invested in a procedure that didn't work. I don't understand though why you would indicate that "it's not the Doctor's fault." I personally will not move forward with a procedure like a laser treatment or PRP without the Doctor agreeing to some kind of compensation if the results are obviously not up to par. Most reputable facilities will offer some kind of compensation like additional treatments or credits for other treatments but it's best to discuss this in advance.

Oh, well aren't you so much smarter than kassandra, danderman. Thank god you informed us of this. To everyone else: Of course, a reputable doctor/estetician who takes pride in their work, will want positive results for their patients and do everything they can to make people happy. "It's not the Doctor's fault.", is absolutely true, though. Insurance waivers a patient MUST sign before these procedures are standard everywhere. If you aren't asked to sign a waiver -RUN!

To be honest, I think the vampire facial has a placebo effect. The idea of it sounds really cool but in reality there is no scientific study proving that it works.

What you say is just UNTRUE! There are absolutely MANY scientific studies on this subject. Many -From Harvard to The London School of Medicine. Anyone wanting a concise and accurate read on PRP, Vampire Facial, Tropocells, Dracula Therapy, Angel lift, Platelet, Blood, whatever, etc.., I accidentally stumbled upon an article that was not only quick to read and easy to understand, it was very informative as to what researchers and doctors studies (not biased product marketing studies) have shown. I have ZERO personal gain. I'm just an interested girl looking for facts! Go to: http://www.bodylanguage.net/platelet-rich-plasma/

The link posted above is not an accurate medical journal. A true medical journal would not have advertisements along with the literature. You clearly work for the facility.

No no, not botox! It will atrophy and eventually kill the muscles, then leave your skin falling down your face. Start CFF (carolyn's Facial fitness) . Go to her site and see the before and afters. Botox is poision and can go systemic. Actual surgery is less invasive than Botox. At least it doesn't leave botulism in your system.

I agree with the facial exercises or get a facial toner that works your muscles in your face..they work for me as I have very few wrinkles..started doing facial exercises in my 30's..
also I love the prp injections have them done every 2 years..in my case when they inject the prp it burned..but I can see my results..it can take up to 12 weeks for full effects to show if it is done properly

Hi Kassandra, I'm sorry you're going through this. What made you decide to have the PRP treatment versus getting fillers?
I know you may not feel like sharing any before/after photos, but I would encourage you to because there may be somebody in our community, including our doctors, that may have had a similar experience that can provide you support.
