I have been a patient of Dr Mountford and the Cosmetic Skin Clinic now for over 6 years and simply would not go anywhere else for my treatment. I was 43 years old at the time and looked 20 years older. I was so incredibly unhappy with my appearance that I quite often cancelled going out with my husband because of my looks. One of the most common things people used to say to me was 'you look tired' - even when I felt fine! I can honestly say that my life has changed for the better. I originally went to the Cosmetic Skin Clinic thinking that maybe botox could help me. I sat down with the Aesthetic Practitioner and she asked what I thought was wrong and then she told me what she thought I needed. There was no pressure and no selling I was given a plan and itemised costing and I was given time to go away and think about what was proposed. It was explained that if I decided to go ahead everything would not be done at once but would be gradual - the aim being to make any changes as natural as possible. My initial treatment consisted of botox, fillers in my cheeks and lines between my nose and mouth and mouth to chin. The change was amazing and confidence changing. I looked my age and not like that old woman I used to see in the mirror. I have not cancelled a night out since. I will be 50 this year and whilst I don't look young, I look like me. It doesnt look like I have had anything done but that is the whole point - I dont want people to point and talk about me behind my back because I look false. I look natural, I look like me. We are all our own worst critics but I am no longer self conscious about my appearance and I am happy getting on with my life. Every member of the team at cosmetic skin clinic is supportive and guiding, there is no selling - only good advice which you do not need to follow if you do not want to. I am so happy I came across the Cosmetic Skin Clinic and cannot thank them enough for what they have done for me and given me my life back.
