54 Year Old with Deflated Boobs - London/Manchester

I guess I had always taken my big boobs for...

I guess I had always taken my big boobs for granted. However much my weight fluctuated they did not change that much, then following the menopause and a loss of 15lbs, I lost my boobs. I dropped from an e/f cup to a c cup. Whilst c is fine deflated e cups look dreadful as can be seen from the photos. I then decided I needed implants. I saw a number of surgeons who all told me that I needed a lift as well as implants. They did not really explain why other than to say it would give me a better result. I was beginning to feel like I was on a conveyor belt and that I was just another pair of boobs, that was until I met Andrea Marando.
One surgeon even told me that if he filled my boobs back up that I would look like Dolly Parton (like that was a bad thing???) and said he would put small implants in and I would achieve a d/dd cup, the brief was to return to an e cup.

You have really great results! Congratulations! How was your recovery? Have you treated yourself to new bras or do your old bras work but just fit better? Way to go on losing the menopause weight...how did you do it?

Thank you Beth, I am so happy with my new boobs, they really do feel good too now. I was quite uncomfortable for the first week or so with the swelling , but, I expected that and to be honest I probably did not rest as much as I should have done. I went back to work after a week which was a bit too early really. I guess I began to feel like my usual self at between 2 - 3 weeks which is great considering what I had done. My old bras do still fit me but as my boobs are a much better shape now I have decided to treat myself to some new bras. Funnily enough the lady that helped me with my bra fitting yesterday was so impressed with my boobs I gave her Andreas details :) And thanks, I lost the weight by following Donna and Tora's fitness DVD programme toned in 25 which I did 2 or 3 times a week. I also followed their diet programme and gave up gluten and lost around a 1lb a week. I have tried so many diets since the menopause and could not shift my middle but, this worked and once I got used to it found it so easy. Ok I had to give up bread and pasta but I could still have my red wine and treats and so I was happy. I have put a couple of pound back on whilst recovering and so I am looking forward to getting back on the programme.

I think you look great. What size and profile implants did you go with? I am having my BL/BA in 3 days - so nervous! I was a 34C my whole life but after 3 kids I am a (deflated) 34D...I don't want to go too large - my PS said the absolute smallest implant he would recommend is 300 cc.
