A little better

I know some will find this annoying especially since before and after photos are so helpful, but I'm not comfortable posting photos of my body. Hope you girls understand! However I will still update my experience. It's day 3 post surgery and I am in less pain. Less stiff but still very much bruised and sore. It's so hard to tell what my results will be as I'm so swollen but I love how they are now - small waist, big hips and bum just like i wanted. Trying not to get my hopes up as from other reviews I do think hips and bum will do down somewhat after swelling goes down... I just hope not too much. Hamza is clearly very good at this surgery from what I can tell so far. I am going To see him tomorrow for the first Time post surgery and he said we will remove all of my bandages etc together then I can have my first shower after seeing him - cannot wait for that!! Sleeping on The stomach is by far the worst part so far...

Sore and bruised!

Hi girls so I had a bit of an unexpected experience with my BBL. I was due to get it done on Friday at Queen Ann Medical with Dr Hamza but shortly after arrival they told us that the anaesthetic machine wasn't working so unless the mechanic could fix it we wouldn't be able to do the procedure! I was gutted because I planned everything around doing it that day but at the same time didn't feel comfortable going ahead even if the mechanic could fix it.... because how could I be sure that it's really safe? Anyway Dr Hamza was really amazing and he found an opening at Harley Health Village the following morning. I was so impressed with how proactive he was as I explained I really couldn't get it done the following week due to already having the next 10 days off work. So I arrived yesterday morning and got the BBL done there. I had researched so much into this procedure so not much that happened or has happened so far has really surprised me. When I woke up I felt really sick like I was going to vomit but my lovely nurse Jon-Luca gave me an injection to shop this. All of the nurses a training Harley Health Village were lovely. At one point I was kneeling on the floor in a prayer position due to nausea and a nurse just came a rubbed my back and comforted me for about 20 mins which was just so sweet and I felt so much better. Dr Hamza did come and see me briefly after the procedure but I was still out of it and he didn't stay long; again, this was something I expected due to reading other reviews. It is annoying in a way but the nurses cared for me really well and I will be meeting Hamza sometime within the week. I know I can also call him or his assistant Lamia at anytime and they will answer any questions I have. Even though I read about it already, I was surprised how much leakage I had. I think it's stopped or at least really decreased this morning, but Hamza said I will have about 1 litre of watery blood leak from where my stomach was lipoed(?). It's 10% blood and 90% water so it doesn't make you feel sick or faint, it's just very messy! I had my op about 10:30 and woke up at 12:30 so I think it took about an hour and a half. Everyone reacts differently but my first concern when I woke up was to turn onto my belly to protect my bum/hips and be active with my legs due to my fears about clots. I stayed at the clinic until about 5:30. I peed a lot before I left and walked there myself etc. When I first woke up after surgery I didn't think my bum was that big, more shapely, but it's swollen a lot since then. I hope it settles somewhere in the middle. I'm not massively happy with my stomach so far, it was big before so I feel like the skin is quite loose and it looks a bit odd... I'm hoping the compression garment and time will make it a bit better. Bruising and moving is very painful but I expected this! Will keep you girls posted [RS bleep] if anyone has advice on my tummy post Lipo let me know please :)

I am getting my BBL done this week by Dr F Hamza...

I am getting my BBL done this week by Dr F Hamza in London. I am so nervous as I get really worried about all the deaths etc you see when you google it, but I keep telling myself that I've done loads of research and chosen a board certified surgeon! I will keep you all posted - only a few days to go eek!
