How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

If you have questions or believe we should re-evaluate a published review, let us know.

2months Post Op & Back on Track!

I'm going to try & keep this short as i tend to ramble on in these.
Wow it's been 2months, I'm healing & I'm feeling great!
Didn't mean to be away for long! But as I mentioned before I had small complications with healing on right nipple (skin reacted to dissolving stiches, which is common) & I wanted to heal. Because this problem is personal and nothing to do with the Drs actual work, I didn't think it was fair to post pictures of it here as it could be assumed it was a reflection of his work & it wouldn't have been(didn'tlook the best). Also to be honest after so much research I started to doubt my Dr & thought i was loosing the nipple (I wasn't).
INSTEAD I thought it would be more beneficial to see if his response & step by step advice would work before I made a review. And thank God it did! Everything he said was right!
He really is professional & knows what he's doing!
My boobs have dropped slightly, so now i have a natural look. But they still have fullness & a perk to them.
1 month to go before i can wear underwired bra's.
Still no feeling in the nipples BUT they react to temperature, touch ect which is a gd sign i think . So hoping it comes back eventually.
P.s I wore my first boobtube without a bra last Sat! I also went to Beyoncè & JayZ concert & was able to jump! If you had my kind of boobs before you understand how much of a big deal that it! Such a big sigh of relief.
It's the small things that matterx
Hope this all helps & thanks for reading. Feel free to contact me with any questions:)
Pictures attached as per :)

2-3 weeks post op

The 2 week mark was much easier, i know longer needed the extra help, and things that were a pain to do before became much easier again.
Surgery wise, i am doing well, swelling has come down so much compared to the last pics i posted.
I have to clean & change my guaze every 2nd day, so i do find my self obsessing over my healing process, but i have to remember it takes time.
My left nipple is doing great, the right is taking a little longer. I have dissolvable stitches and the skin on my right nipple is reacting to it, making it quite "fragile". It did scare me at first but my Dr said it was normal. The nipple does seem to be progressing.
I had a vertical incision which is healing very nicely. The bottom of the vertical line where it meats the base of my boob does have a runched look to it at the moment. It is healing well, but i do expect this to flatten over time & as it heals.
As expected my I still have no feeling in my nipples(still early days), but the feeling surrounding on the rest of the breast is back. (During the first week it was all numb).
I went back to work 2& a half weeks post op. My job does require moving around quite a bit, but does not require me to lift heavy things. My only concern was people bumbing into me on my commute/at work or falling over.
