Amazing results nose job **Dr Kalpesh Patel** - London, GB

I have met consulted with other surgeons before meeting Patel who were advising me that this looked like a completed case to them and didn’t seem to want to get involved, instead they wanted to recommend Dr Patel. I hated my nose and really hoped that Dr Patel would be the man who can sort this ugly- bent nose out of mine.
I booked my appointment with Dr Patel the following week, initially i conducted a lot of research on Dr Patel and read through reviews leading up to my appointment.
However, i was happy to go ahead with Dr Patel especially hearing from previous experiences and positive personal recommendations given, I was happy to choose Mr Patel. Right from the first consultation, Mr Patel explained the process very clearly, made me feel very comfortable (he explained to me what needed to be done in simple terms that was easily understood and what lifestyle changes i would need to make to ease the surgery experience) At first i was very apprehensive about the operation because this was my first, but Mr Patel kept me fully informed with simple explanations as to what was going to happen next.
On the day of the operation, i was supported well before and after the operation. I was so impressed with the time and patience and how caring the staff were. They put me at ease with humane conversation whilst administering the anaesthetic. The next moment i knew was that i came round in the recovery area. As i returned to my room, i was checked by the nurse who made sure i was comfortable, checked my pain levels, and made regular check-ups post operation. I was surprised in how i felt, even though i was in severe pain. The surgeon was extremely good in running through what had to be done and what to expect next.
Dr Patel carried out an external septo rhinoplasty together with endoscopic sinus surgery and right inferior turbinate submucosal reduction under general anaesthetic. After standard preparation and infiltration, the right concha bullosa was submucosally reduced facilitating medicalisation of the septum. Ethmoidectomy was carried out which released inspissated mucoid material. Middle meatal antrostomy was also fashioned.
Following an inverted V marginal incision, the septum was elevated and septal flaps were raised with some difficulty as the septum was significantly deviated to the right. Septal cartilage was harvested but was inadequate for reconstructive purpose, so Tutoplast cadaveic rib graft was used and septal batten graft created. This was using a crossbar technique. In addition to this, bilateral speaker graft were used together with alar contour graft. Medial and lateral osteotomies were performed and Donal suture were used to improve tip definition. A double cap graft was also utilised. The septal flaps were re- opposed with quilting sutures and a Denver sling applied externally.
I had been prepared for an overnight stay, but despite the comfort of the hospital room, my own bed was more attractive, i was looking forward to being back home. The nurse explained how to control pain levels, check waterproof dressings. She was an example of caring and compassion and was a credit to the nursing profession. Four weeks on, I am now slowly getting back to my old self. I still take arnica tablets to help with the swelling and the pain. However, my new nose has impproved my confidence majorly and i feel it has improved my breathing considerably. I would most definitely recommend Mr Patel to my friends and family.
I am so glad to have met Dr Patel, and have his hands work his magic to my nose.

My nose was bent. I had a horrible bump and my nose had moved to the right side of my face. I hated taking photos and felt very unattractive.
