I have wanted a rhinoplasty since I became aware...

I have wanted a rhinoplasty since I became aware of my nose at around 12 years old! I was bullied quite badly at school but before all the teasing I was aware that my nose was bad. I had broken it when I was 8 years old and at the time I could have had it straightened but I was too scared to go ahead with the operation and I refused. Then whilst on holiday abroad I bumped my nose again and although it was not confirmed I believe I broke it again (I was 18 at this point). I did some research on surgeons after I had completed my nursing degree and could afford the procedure. I came across Dr Lucian on here and I liked all of his results and his reviews seemed consistent so I booked my first consultation in November 2015.
First Consultation
I was so nervous but excited! My Mum and I had traveled all the way down to London which is three hours journey from where we are. My Mum has always been supportive of me having the procedure done as she knows how much my nose affects my life and dictates everything that I do. Whilst waiting to go in for the first consultation I was so worried that Dr Lucian would say it was too bad to do anything about and I remember this being one of my only thoughts. When we got in Dr Lucian was a very pleasant and welcoming man, he seemed to have a good ora about him and he was very knowledgeable about noses. He did a few simulation pictures for me (I hated having these done as I always try to avoid looking at my nose) on one picture the nose was slightly upturned and I knew I didn't really want this look, I wanted a more natural nose, so we worked together to find the right one for me and Dr Lucian emailed me both images so I could consider both options at my own leisure. I knew as soon as I left the room that he was the right surgeon for me so I managed to book the surgery for the first day of my two week holiday from work (very lucky) I also booked a second consultation.
Second consultation
I confirmed with Dr Lucian that I wanted the nose which wasn't as upturned and he went through any questions I had and I was given the opportunity to confirm the look I was going for. I felt confident in him and I knew I was in safe hands.
Morning of the surgery?
On the morning of the surgery I wasn't nervous at all!! Mum and I had gone down to London the night before to stay in a hotel near by and so I was well rested for it. I was terrified the night before that I would overlay and so I woke up super early to get there in time for 7.15. Dr Lucian came to see me before and I even had the opportunity to change my plan slightly (I will show in the pictures) he was happy for me to do this and he made me feel very relaxed with his calming presence. The nerves only started to kick in as I was on the bed down in theatre waiting to have the anesthetic, the anesthetist reassured me that everything would be okay but I was still nervous, not about having my nose done but about being put to sleep!
Waking up after surgery:
When I woke up after surgery I didn't feel like I was in much pain I just felt nauseous though I was given plenty of IV antiemetics to settle this. I was taken up to my room after a short while where the nurse came in and changed my bandage and recorded my blood pressure etc. I had some quite bad bleeding from my nose at this point but was given tranexamic acid (help with clotting) and some sorbet which stopped the bleeding. I was feeling in a bit of pain but not from my nose, more of a headache.

Before and After pictures

I am still really swollen but happy with my profile :)

Update

I am now 2 weeks post op! Still feeling frustrated with the swelling and my front view but as you can see the swelling is going down. I have a feeling it will be a slow process for me and much patience is needed. I will post a picture of my front when I feel a bit more confident with it. The tip of my nose is still very hard and difficult to move so I'm hoping that when this changes I will feel better.
