I had the Clear and Brilliant laser done on my face for the first time with Dr. Karolak. He and his staff were very friendly, patient, professional, and willing to explain every aspect of what to expect during and after the procedure. This was the first of four laser procedures that I am committed to getting over the next four months. It was painless with the use of numbing cream. Highly recommend this. After a week of steady, unnoticeable healing, I could see and feel a difference in the look and texture of my skin. I am excited and looking forward to the final results. Also, I love the points system that they offer. I'm in this for the long haul, so it's nice to know that I will get a discounted service at some point.
UPDATE:
I've had a total of 3 Clear and Brilliant laser procedures so far, over a 3 month period. I was on a morning show, in NYC, and the make up girl told me how great my skin looked and asked me about my skin regime! What?! I was definitely noticing a difference in my skins overall appearance, but was thrilled when a complete stranger and my husband began noticing and complimenting me.
Again, the staff at Reflections is lovely and helpful and Dr. Karolak is wonderful. At my most vulnerable, no make-up and goopy with numbing cream, he speaks to me, looks at me, and treats me like a dear friend. He is professional, charming, and incredibly kind.
ICING ON TOP...when I went to pay for the third procedure, my points kicked in! I was doing the happy dance in the lobby!

I had my 4th and final Clear and Brilliant session today. I will most likely have a treatment once or twice a year now. The Clear and Brilliant laser really makes my skin look and feel fresh and youthful. My husband is next. Yep!

Was the $1,300 for the package of four sessions? Sounds like a good deal.

Yes. $1300 for 4 sessions. They have a terrific points system.
Now, go get gorgeous. Also, receiving constant comments on how great my skin looks. I now use an amazing serum and moisturizer during the day with a little face powder. I used to use an expensive cream foundation that would make my wrinkles more apparent. At night, I just started using a retinol. I blend it with my evening moisturizer. All things I should've been doing for the past 3 decades.

Thanks for answering. Probably I'll not find a deal like that in Manhattan, but knowing about your price gives me something to look for. I don't need to mess with stuff like powder or foundation, thank heaven, but retinoids are a good thing. I think steady Clear & Brilliant treatments could give me a great result, and so I hope to dive in. Please tell me, do you think those treatments would also reduce the lingering, chronic almost-acne I deal with?

In my opinion, the Clear and Brilliant treatments are great for smoothing the texture of my skin and giving me an overall fresh, healthy glow. I get the occasional breakouts. Healthy eating and a good skin regime keeps my breakouts in check more than the treatments do. Sorry, that's the truth. Stay away from sugar for overall good health and beauty. Also, Reflections is in Livingston. Worth the trip from NYC. Super easy. Good luck.

Thanks for the response, although you didn't answer the question about price. Do you think that you're looking better using the C&B treatment (together with your skin care and good nutrition) than if you relied on self-care only?

After reading your review I made an appt for reflections but in Martinsville. They had nothing available until 5/2. Do you think it's ok to start at that time of the year? Did you have any hyper pigmentation issues? Thanks!!

It's fine to get it done whenever you can. You will quickly learn the value of excellent SUNBLOCK. Make sure it contains zinc and titanium. Reflections can suggest a few for you. Hyper pigmentation was a non issue. Good luck.

Okay so it's over a year and a half since my last clear and brilliant. I was dreading the down time that the more invasive laser requires, so that is why I chose the C&B. I am noticing my skin has lost it's soft appearance. With make up, only sunscreen and powder, my skin still looks great however, I want to only wear sunscreen, a little eye makeup, & lips. Going for the big guns now. I have set aside 2 weeks to recover. Getting the co2 laser, at a lesser setting because of my American Indian heritage, though. This is supposed to give me long term and way smoother flawless skin! I'm super excited. Yikes. May get the courage to post before, during (eek!), and after results. We'll see...xo
