Hiya I'm a 24 years old Afro-Caribbean woman, based in The UK. I've thought long and hard about getting a rhinoplasty, and I finally decided to do it. I am a very private person so I normally don't write reviews, but this site helped me a lot so I have to give something back. After nearly a year saving money and trying to find a good surgeon who does Ethnic Rhinoplasty, I finally found Dr Tahery. As usual I checked his qualifications and them read all his review, and then I PM some of his patients, surprisingly, I had answers an every single one was happy with their results, and they highly recommended him. Then I booked a consultation with his secretary, and 2 weeks later I was there. At first I was very nervous because I didn't see any review from any black patient, so I wasn't sure if I was dealing with the right surgeon, because I'm black Afro-Caribbean, and our skin is normally very thick, so I had to make sure that I was in good experienced hands. Dr Tahery answered all my question at the consultation, and he showed me some before and after pictures of some of his ethnic patients. I was very happy with what I saw, and I booked my surgery straight away. To cut the long history short, I had my surgery done last week, and my cast removed today. When he took the cast off and I saw my nose, I was so happy he gave me a prettier/ modified version of my original nose! I can't wait to see how it continues to get better as the swelling goes down. Dr Tahery was very helpful, well mannered and he listened to what I exactly wanted. I highly recommend him. He really did so much better than expected. I can't thank him enough. :)
